Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Pale gold with white head. A beer that is purely about the hops, there is a light, biscuity body but then its crammmed with leafy, fruity hop notes, very pleasant.

Cask (Cambridge Blue, Cambridge)
Grainy, but nice fresh crisp hops. In some ways simple. But it’s refreshing and uplifting with the lightness of the grains and the nice bite of bold hops.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 MesandSim (7118) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2008
A Mes rate: Cask at the Pembury Tavern. Straight gold with no head at all. Full on hop juice aroma. Gloriously grassy, floral and aromatic, it’s all in there. Full to the brim of fresh green stuff along with lots of apricot and maybe a bit of mango. The flavour is almost identical. Superbly downable. Crying out for a bit of body and certainly some c02 but as is often the case at the Pembury, I really don’t think this is exactly as it should be. All the same, it’s still a lovely drop. Lingering dusty apricot with a faint piggy bite rounds it off nicely. Flat as a pancake but it drinks like an awesome fruit cordial so I’ll let it slide. Fantastic stuff Milton but sort your serving QC out...

Malty, fruity taste with biscuits, peaches and stewed fruit. Balanced sweetness, fresh bitterness in the finish. On the thin side but refreshing. In short: canned peaches with fruity hops.
