So…we had this spiced amber recipe that was originally written for a Christmas release but it didn’t get brewed until now! We decided to call it Elf’s Lament because this elf is quite sad that the beer didn’t make it out in time for Christmas. But, better late than never right? We think so!
This beer is a full bodied, malt driven, spiced amber ale with hints of plum, cinnamon and dried fruits. It really tastes like Christmas in a glass… and who doesn’t love Christmas?!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Milwaukee Ale House. Poured deeper garnet with a short-lived beige head. The aroma picked up tangy coriander and cinnamon over sweet fruits and caramel malt.. spicy and aiight. The flavor found sweet fruits and caramel surrounded by coriander, nutmeg, and other related spices.. some orange peel too.. tangy, spicy finish. Medium-bodied and very heavily spiced on the palate.. low-moderate carbonation.. just OK overall.
