phishpond417 (1459), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 11, 2008 Pours a nice amber body with a large head. Nice retention that brings back the froth again and again. Caramel, and fruit in the aroma and flavors of caramel as well. A pretty tastey brew, but a little too malty.
TomDecapolis (2482), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 6, 2008 Bottle thanks to hopdog. Pours a lightly hazy deep amber with golden highlights and a smaller bubbly off white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, some nuts, cardboard and dark fruits. Flavor of caramel, sweet grainy malts, toffee, cardboard and a touch of citrus. NobleSquirrel (688), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 5, 2008 Draft at the Lakefront Marathon. Pour is a deep amber with some iced tea notes in the nose. A little hop character. Very drinkable amber with a creamy mouthfeel and some light hoppiness and again the iced tea. Decent. Petrucci914 (375), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Aug 13, 2008 Pours an amber color with a medium foamy white head. Caramel aroma, with a bit of citrus. Taste is about the same......rather malty, with some pineyness to it. Nothing very special. jbuzz (518), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jul 29, 2008 Single from Three Cellars Milwaukee. Good darker Amber full body and great color. mkebeerparty (10), , USA Jul 21, 2008 I’m not a huge fan of this beer: it’s a little darker for an amber and is a little too malty. I can see why others like it though: it has a somewhat fruity aroma and is a strong beer although relatively smooth
