Clear very dark copper color. Moderate beige head. Caramel and dark malts dominate the nose. Flavors of sweet malt, brown sugar and hint of molasses in the front. Seems a bit thin in feel. Middle is a bit dryer, but still mostly malty. Dry toasty finish. A light bodied porter.

Aug 21, 2008 On draught at the grafton ale house: pours a dark dark brown colour with a reddish tint. light brown head. Semi dry, roasted malt character with coffe notes all the way through.

Jul 26, 2008 On tap at the Milwaukee Location. Poured a medium brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of roast, caramel, and chocolate. Tastes of roast, caramel, chocolate, and a very light coffee finish.
