Pour on tap at Busters on 28th, hazy orange-red pour with slightly off white head, aroma brought notes of bourbon, sweet caramel, toffee, some vanilla into a bit of dark fruit, plum, cinnamon, some rum-soaked raisin into some slight spice. Taste was a mix of spice, cinnamon, sweet dark fruit into slight orange, hints of bourbon, vanilla, sweet toffee, finishing sweet. Pretty tasty!

Pours rich dark honey pour with no head. Desserty nose. cinnamon apple streusel comes to mind. Bready and a tad grainy, but very cinnamon raisin Apple. Medium light body and a nice enough, round palate. Dry but sticky end. The tastes are light desserty and spiced. Cinnamon apple streusel on raisin bread. Nice sweet and pretty light dubbel. 3.8

On tap at Milwaukee Ale House. 7% Barrel aged version so different than the one I had in Spring or perhaps the same but just barrel aged. This whole Ale House/MKE Brewing thing is confusing and where to put it. Someone entered it here, so here I place my rating. Dark ruby with a thin off-white head. Aroma picks up heavy plums with winter spices – cinnamon, ginger, raisons, dates, dark fruits and some spicy notes from the barrel. Taste is strong plum as well with ginger, cinnamon, chocolate and mild herbal notes.
