COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Full bodied, orange hued ale. A variety of toasted and caramel malts create a nice backdrop to the aggressive citrus and floral hop notes.

Can. Pours amber brown with creamy off-white head. Nose is light but pleasant - mild fruitiness and just a bit of floral hops. Flavor is lightly sweet, bready maltiness followed by a good dose of lasting bitterness and some hop resin aftertaste. I think I see what MKE was going for here - a strong bitter beer - and it drinks like a strong pale ale or perhaps a burton ale, and would be quite good for an American strong ale but doesn’t hold up against the style profile for most IPAs adopted by U.S. brewers at this moment.

Bottle. Slightly hazy reddish brown with a big creamy head and a sweet, resiny aroma. Doughy malt taste with a floral hop bitterness. Medium bodied and a bit slick on the palate with a very light carbonation. Short, bitter finish that wraps this one up nicely. Very good.

High sweetness, lacking in hops. Not too impressed with this one. Just OK.

pours a beautiful burnt orange with minimal white head. Not a strong aroma, though does have a hint of caramel, and just simply smells hoppy. First sip left a strong bitter aftertaste, but quickly became less bitter.

Bottle. Aroma is odd, a pesto/pine nut/marinara sauce. Taste is more pine nut, then a metallic harsh bitterness, and a hint of sourness in the finish. The finish was close to a fermented tangy greek yogurt. Ok, this was a drain pour for me. Hated to do it, but this was just a mess.

Pours orange and bursting with hoppy citrus and grass. A faint head that doesn’t stick around too long. The taste is complex with both sweet and bitter grapefruity notes. Finishes bitter and delicious

Can. Pour is dark orange with giant foam head. Aroma is orange, lemon, sweet, toasted malt. Taste is pine and citrus hops, punch but not overly so, some resin, light toasted malt back.

A bread-like aroma suggests malts that never show up -- just average bitterness. Relieved there were just two of these in the variety pack.

Poor showing... If your first homebrew tasted like this then that's cool. You have something to build on. But this no way...it has a nice head that sticks around... Aroma is bad taste is horrible ... Once u get past the first taste the secondary taste is almost acceptable with what appears to be slight citrus! But this is bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hops hit you immediately with a sweet flavor. Goes down smooth with the perfect amount of carbonation. Finish is surprisingly bitter but still enjoyable.
