3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lubiere (8243) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 27, 2012
An orange amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, classic pinhey hops, citrus pulp, caramel malt. In mouth, a smooth biscuit with piney hops, citrus, candy sugar, very nice. Bottle at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 21 2012.

12v oz bottle. Pours deep golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet fruity hops. a bit citric and a strong caramel malt sweetness. Flavor is much the same, though the caramel sweetness is even stronger. Still some sweet citric hoppiness and a lightly bitter finish. Medium body and a sharp carbonation.

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a dark copper/amber with a nice white head and lacing through out the glass, aroma has a decent citrus and hop touches to it, the flavor has a little sweeter than I’m used to for an IPA but it still works, nice smooth finish, decent.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mrbarylski (4) - USA - NOV 16, 2010 does not count
I’m slowly starting to become a big fan of IPAs. Milwaukee Brewing Company’s is a good one. Smooth with good hops.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 beerbaaron (378) - Wisconsin, USA - NOV 25, 2012
Citrus stands out but otherwise a basic, slightly above average IPA. Its very drinkable and friendly to the average beer drinker.

16oz can at Miller Park. Pours a dark amber color with a tan head. Aroma is lightly hoppy, pine, a little bready malt. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bready, caramel, some bitter pine hops, with a light bitter finish. A nice beer, but an underwhelming IPA.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ughsmash (6669) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 9, 2010
Bottled. Poured hazy, rich amber with a dense cap of beige head. The aroma picked up sweet, juicy oranges and grapefruit over caramel and bready notes.. very, very, very sweet, but I was feeling the candied aspect. The flavor found sweet caramel and orange meat at the core, with orange peel and floral bitterness around.. lots of residual sugars on the back.. again a lot like moderately hopped-up candy. Medium-bodied and sweeter than it needed to be on the palate.. very easy to drink, with a decent flow across the palate.. I’d probably have another.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ccex (797) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 11, 2013
12 oz bottle pours a hazy amber color with a fluffy white head and some lacing. Arome is simply floral hops and caramel malts, but not strong. Flavor is more malty than hoppy, but has a dry finish. Medium body with just the right amount of carbonation. Easy to drink, but not very memorable.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DrnkMcDermott (2621) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - AUG 4, 2012
Single bottle from Binny’s Build-a-Six rack. Nice copper IPA color with a thick, slightly orange-ish head. Slightly citrus and pine hop smell. Taste is up front with hop bitterness. After a thousand IPAs, it gets hard to say what makes one different from the other, but this does have a slightly larger malt backing, even if it does support a pretty standard hop balance. But as a year-round beer, you can’t expect too many non-repeatable variations.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Frank (2188) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 7, 2012
This is a nice IPA that tastes and drinks pretty good but doesn’t have anything particularly compelling going on in the aroma. The texture is a high point, nice and creamy w/ gentle carbonation. Overall, it’s forgettable but I’d say it’s better than most forgettable beers.
