12 ounce bottle. Pours orange gold with a decent white head. Aroma of pine, malt, and caramel. Taste is malt, pine, citrus, and caramel. Not too exciting.

Aroma is sweetish malts and a hint of hops. The flavor is light citrus, bready malts, a strong hint of berries and a mildly bitter finish.

Very disappointing beer. Was looking for a hoppy, Oktoberfest style beer but this was plain, boring, and just meh. Have been unimpressed so far with MKE Brew Co.

I am not sure why this is called Hoptoberfest. It is not especially hoppy and seems to be pretty much a down-the-middle American festbier. Regardless, it is quite good w/ loads of fresh, rich malt flavor. It is sweet but only very slightly sticky and quite drinkable w/ perky carbonation and a good deal of herbal bitterness in the finish. I might call this a heller bock rather than an Oktoberfest but, regardless, it is done much better than most doestic takes on heavier German styles.

Bottle. Slight hop aroma. Lacing head. A little floral hop taste but not enough. The hops and the oktober fest style almost combine for a nutty finish. Not bad but wanted more "Hop" in the hoptoberfest. Still one of my favorite breweries.

On tap at Milwaukee Ale House. I liked the mellow earthy malt flavors but thought they kind of overpowered the hops. Not what I expected but good nonetheless. Maybe call it maltoberfest?

Brownish orange with white head. Hop flavor has mellowed after 6 months in the bottle and actually made it better. Who wants a hoppy OKT?

Bottled. Poured a nice shade of medium orange with a tall, well-retained whitish head.. looked very good in the glass. The aroma picked up leafy and citrus hoppage over soft bready notes and a pinch of honey.. came across as more of a heller bock, but I enjoyed it. The flavor found more honey than anything else at the core, with prickly carbonation, citrus, and grassy bitterness around.. somewhat sharp, with some tackiness on the finish. Light-medium bodied and sharp as mentioned on the palate.. just didn’t flow great.

Pours to an amber body with a white head. The aroma is lightly hoppy with generic pine and light malt. The flavor is lightly hoppy with sweet pine and pale malt. Average palate. Decent beer.
