COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What makes Resurrection unique is the 2 months of aging in fresh Bourbon Barrels, the barrels contribute a warm, smooth flavor that comes from the bourbon soaked oak. Louie’s Resurrection has a copper/amber hue with a sweet apricot and malt aroma. Caramel, vanilla, bourbon, and some roasted malt flavor are well balanced.

Very Hazy Dark Red with a foamy head, good lacing and carbonation. Nose consists of bourbon, vanilla, caramel malts and some nutty notes. Flavor has some nice vanilla, oak and chocolate notes along with caramel and peated scotch. Body is lighter but thick and the carbonation is rather mild. Smooth and tasty!

Pours an amber/copper color with thin off white head. I was let down by this beer. Aromas of sweet malts with some hints of the barrels. Flavors of sweet malts, roast, and absolutely no evidence of barrel aging.

Poured from a bottled. Poured medium amber with a short, tight-bubbled beige head. The aroma picked up sweet bourbon, vanilla, and nutty notes with touches of charred oak accenting.. quite nice. The flavor found sweet caramel and nutty notes at the core, with seemingly sweeter bourbon and vanilla laced throughout.. a little overripe apricot and black pepper came through on the finish. Light-medium bodied with low-ish carbonation on the palate.. very tasty, but I could only enjoy it in small doses due to huge sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

hazy tan-amber, thin white ring and oily head. Heavy toasted grain nose, . Flavor is lightly buttery, ashy bitterness clashing with sweet grains, light tomato. Sweet burnt sugar finish. Tough to drink throughout, watery body no help.

Bottle shared by deyholla; thanks Derek! Pours a hazy orange chestnut with an eggshell head that dissipates to a soapy film. Nose is sweet caramel malts- light with a vanilla hint. Taste is light but rich with yeasty with the faintest of bourbon. Decent but not quite what i was hoping for from a BA beer.

Shared by CaptainCougar at GT’s going away tasting. Thanks Tom. The beer is amber hued with a small, off white head. The aroma offers malt, vanilla, sweet fruits, alcohol. Fairly sweet with some butterscotch throughout. Bourbon character is mild. Pretty drinkable and certainly interesting. Worth a try.

On tap at Vintage’s Big Barrel Tarrarel - Pours lightly hazy amber with a thin foamy off-white head. Nose is sweet boozy bread, whiskey and a bit of spiciness. A little heat. really caramelly taste, with butterscotch, some sweet bread malt, and a touch of wood. I can even taste some hops hiding in there. Not too shabby.

355mL at my going away tasting. Pours muddy dark amber. Weak carbonation. Yellow bubbles. Nose is straight up children’s cherry juice box, sweet pineapple juice. Taste is papery, sticky sugar, harsher acid. Watery body.
