bottle 7/12/10 strawberry blonde color with a filmy white head. it smells mildly of pils malt, grass and some fruitiness akin to sweet strawberries. clean finish. the flavor is the same. palate is crisp and easy drinking. this would prolly be great on tap when it’s a buck twenty out. 6/3/6/3/15/3.3

From a 12oz bottle. Hazy light amber with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet malt, mild floral hops and honey. Taste of corn, sweet malt, honey. Thin with a clean finish. Unobtrusive and forgettable.

Supposedly they changed the style of this beer to a Vienna. The beer pours to a clean copper colored body with a creamy thin white head. The aroma is a nice corn silage and other Vienna aromas of specialty malts and crisp grains. The flavor has an intensely concentrated malted barley flavor. Subtle corn silage. Nice Vienna flavors. I love the crisp maltiness. The palate has a nice velvety feel that has a decent malt linger. Bitterness is subtle. A malt forward refreshing beer. I enjoyed it very much.

a drinkable lager, that I would probably not choose to drink, but would put it down if a bottle was handed to me. A fairly light beer w/ some light spice in the finish.

Tasted 8/15/10. Sampler from the Brewpub. Filtered with a golden hue. Trace head. Toasty aromas with undertones of caramel and mild esters. Medium bodied with a toasty malt bill and a dry finish. Good malts and crafted just like it should be!

This is a nice malt-accented lager that drinks nicely w/o being too sweet. It’s a golden orange color veering on yellow w/ a small head of mixed bubbles. Nose and flavor both are of a sort of exaggerated nutty malt character. It’s actually kind remarkable how strongly this comes through in a lighter beer. There’s a touch of sweetness here w/ just a hint of bitterness from the hops. This is an interesting take on the style. I would normally expect it to be a bit darker in color and not quite so malty but this is good too.

Bottle - Pours clear gold with a big foamy white head. Nose is light herbal, earthy hops, mixing with some lightly toasted grain and a dab of honey. Taste is the same, with a bit more sweetness. Grain lasts through the finish, with a touch of spicy hoppiness and hint of alcohol sharpness. Decent heft in the body, with ample carbonation and a bit of slickness. Real nice beer.

This beer pours a golden colour, with a big white head. Aroma is pleasent, fruity and smells very fresh. Scattered lacing all around the glass. Flavors are of apple, pear and lemon. I thought it was a great heavy lager, lots of flavor and it definately fills you up.
