COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cream Ales are true American styled brews. Mimicking European light lagers, the Cream Ale is brewed utilizing the top fermenting Ale yeast resulting in a more complex flavor and nose. Cream ales traditionally are brewed with a blend of malted barley and corn grits for a light body and golden straw color. A very slight hop presence helps round out this simple but refreshing beer.

Pale yellow. Nose of wet malt, a bit of corn, and faint hops. Flavor is golden malt, corn, light vanilla, and a touch of fruitiness. Not bad for the style

Clear light yellow, minimal white head. Quite sweet honey and cereal. Light bitterness with a lot of clean, residual sweetness. Not particularly complex, light body, medium finish. Slight carbonation. Pleasant, drinkable beer.

It has a nice creaminess at the end. Not bad for MKE. Corn grits, huh? Mmmm...

On tap at their Grafton location, pours a hazy dull pale yellow with a dill cream head. The smell is corn, marshmallows, grain. The taste is as it smells, grainy sweetness and some fruit ending fruity crisp. The beer is creamy with fine carbonation.

On-tap, this pours a semi-clear golden yellow with a fluffy white head. The aroma is mild with hints of sweet malt. The taste is light, sweet and easy drinking. A nice substitute to Spotted Cow if you are looking for something different.

A corny beer, strangely enough. The scent and finish remind me of the canned creamed corn mom used to make, and my brother and me had to choke down, a half century ago. Outboard is tasty enough -- smooth and sweet -- but I don’t think I could drink two in the same week.

[Bottle] Pours a brighter golden color with a small white head. Notes of corn syrup, grains and breads in the nose. White bread, cracker, dough, honey malts and light floral hops in the flavor. Lively carbonation. A very drinkable beer overall. Tasting notes from 8/2014.
