UPDATED: JUL 25, 2013 A good effort. Bitter for a cream ale. Not up to the standard set by New Glarus Spotted Cow.

Slightly Hazy Yellow, HUGE Soapy Foam Head. There is so Much Foam, That you might Need Three Pints to Fit Just One Bottle. Lots of Soapy Foam Lacing, Light in Aroma Department. Light Creamy, Light Peppery Spice Bitter, Belgian Like Finish. It has been a While Since I’ve had Spotty Cow but this does not remind me it. More Like a Belgian Ale. Mellow, Easy Drinker If You Don’t Mind Excessive Foaming. Pretty Decent.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly sweet malty aroma, pours a slightly hazy amber with a full white head. There’s a touch of vanilla and sweetness, with very faint hop presence in the finish. Light bodied and easy drinking. Nothing extraordinary about this beer, but a solid lawnmower beer.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Slightly darker yellow pour with a white to off white head. Small amount of lacing on the glass. Bread, malt, and light fruits on the nose earns an 8 out of 10 for aroma. Flavor is malty but lighter and simplex. Hops don’t appear until the very end, but slip away quickly. There are only few examples of this style that I really care for, and this is one of them. Quite nice!

Had this beer when doing yard work. I only had one but I wish I had more! Very good flavor and finish for the cream ale style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Enjoyed from can while at Miller Park in Milwaukee, WI while watching a Rockies vs. Brewers game. I didn’t take tasting notes for this one, but remember this being an enjoyable cream ale which was rich in its hop profile, and went down equal parts bitter and creamy. Good good stuff, hope to have this again.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a darker amber color with off-white head. Some bread and malt on the nose, not much in the hop department, some cereal grain as well; follows onto the palate.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Very slightly hazy orange pour with a small soapy white head. Nose is stale grains. Medium mouthfeel with a little hop bite. Not terrible, but not very good either.
