COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This pitch black milk stout is teaming with rich roasted malt and coffee flavors. The addition of milk sugar tames these intense flavors with a silky sweetness. A very easy drinking, full bodied beer. This beer gets its’ name from the Milwaukee landmark, the Allen-Bradley clock tower, who locals fondly call “Polish Moon”.

Roasty burnt toast aroma. Pours very dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Very smooth. A little bit of coffee slight bitterness. Toasty. Not bad.

A very appealing pour with a feint aroma. First taste that hits you is water, then it has an aftertaste of coffee with cream and a hint of chocolate. The lack of flavor is disappointing

Draft at trader Todd's. bubbly black pour with bubbly brown head. Sweet taste with chocolate backbone. A little lite after what I drank before but exceeded my expectations.

Pours black with minimal tan head. Notes of coffee and toasted malt dominate. A bit of lactic is present as well. The taste is a bit sweet though not as lactic as i was expecting. Bitter finish and overall decent. I have had much better milk stouts but still decent.

Dark and toasty. Nice lace and a good chocolate finish. Like this with a good lasagna and slice of cheese.

Pours ebony black with a thick frothy light brown head. Aroma is malt and coffee. Nice viscosity and creaminess. Taste is dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and a slight yeasty sourdough bread taste at the finish. No hops evident. Very smooth and flavorful. Stands up well with chili and crackers.

smells of pennies and milk. pours pitch black. Was slightly turned off by all the other reviews, I do taste metallic slightly, but not too strong. Smooth, easy to drink. Not extremely flavorful, but not a bad beer either.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2013 Aroma of chocolate milk, coffee, roasted malt, and maybe caramel. Tasty for sure. Flavor follows aroma. Body is light to medium. Has characteristics that give it broad appeal. Easy drinking.

The aroma is the best thing about this sweet stout. The pour is thick and viscous, and has a rather foamy, tan bubbly head. The taste of this one is STRONG- an intense roasted flavor, which may have appeal to some, but didn’t to me, and I love stouts known for roast flavors. Polish Moon, we were just not meant to be.
