Milwaukee Special Reserve Ice has an initially medium, off-white head (which fizzes away, much more like a soft drink than a beer), a clear, somewhat bubbly, straw appearance, and no lacing left behind. The aroma is of wet straw, and the flavor is of cheap, store-brand grape drink, wet straw, green apple, with even a touch of hop bitterness at the back end. Mouthfeel is light, and Milwaukee Special Reserve Ice finishes semi-dry and unappealing. But, I was able to choke it down. RJT

12 oz. can. It pours a decent clear yellow gold color with a nice white head that shrinks pretty quickly. The aroma is mostly apples with some very light bready malt, dough and lager yeast. No hops to speak of. The flavor is very light and watery with some hints of uncooked dough and lightly tart and sweet apples. Very plain and watery finish, but thankfully not as sweet as expected. Still not dry though. I can see this going down ok as a substitute for the macros. It may be a step below in quality though if I’m being honest.

30 pack for under $12. I am glad my brother bought it and I only took 1. Clear yellow pour with white head. Aroma is corn, cereal grains. Taste is cereal grains, not much taste. A strange aftertaste.

24oz can in a plastic bag baby - sweet corn and grain. Not that bad for what it is. Don’t regret it.

The aroma is very subpar, but the taste is a pleasant surprise of mediocracy. My only gripe is the brutal aftertaste, but if there were a case in my roommate’s fridge, I would steal a few

12oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear yellow with minimal head. Aroma of grains and corn. Taste is liggt sweet. Mostly corn with a weird aftertaste. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a surprisingly long finish. Overall, meh. Not awful, and actually quite poundable.

Can, poured into Ridel Wine glass.

The color is pale and perfectly clear, the head is large, fluffy and white, the head is also fading fast.

The aroma is sweet and corny, not espcially inviting, it’s got some acidic canned tomato charcter and more and more alcohol expression as it warms.

The flavor is tinny, not as weird or vegetal as the aroma... It’s fairly boozy, fairly sweet... kind of bland.... Not really a pale lager, not really a Malt Liquor.

Pours a clear yellow with almost no head. It has a citrus aroma with just a slight metallic taste. Overall, it was not as bad as I thought it would be after reading other reviews.

light golden pour with a small white head that disappears quickly. Sweet aroma, corn and metal. Same in the flavor, its best features are the price and abv.
