1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
24 oz. can that I only had a little bit of from backlog notes 07/08. Pours a pale straw yellow color with a thin white head. The aroma and flavor is surprisingly boozy (not as much as Natural Ice) with the typical corn notes, sawdust, nasty graininess, light tart apple. Just no reason for this unless a macro drinker is trying to get there faster.

0.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
946ml can into a Supermug; served cold.
Aroma: This beer has a corny, lightly sweet aroma. It is basic and has no hop aroma.
Appearance: This beer has a clear, pale gold body with a foamy, white, head. There is some decent lacing.
Taste: Sweet malt, no hop flavors at all. Not bitter. Generic flavors.
Palate: Watery, light body. Abrupt finish.
Overall: Just generic, adjunct-y lager beer. Light on flavor, light on body.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Clear gold with a thick, white head.
Corn, honey, grain aroma.
Taste is barley malt, slightly sweet.
Body actually has some heft to it.
Truly not bad for what it is.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
can. Golden with one finger head. Sweet with some light corn and mild hops. I want to hate this, but it’s not that bad. Perhaps I’m just in a more forgiving mood than usual.

1.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
24 oz can, bottom stamped JUL2814. Nose lightly sweet with heavy corn dust. Clear pour is deep golden with healthy carbonation and a sudsy bright white head. Watery body is strongly sweet, cereal grain with floral character and a (actually pretty nice!) bready finish. Crisp and slightly refreshing. There’s some corn here, yes, but the floral hops are more the focus, and despite the ’hangover taste’, there’s also a surprising feel of freshness. Could do a lot worse!

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A brilliant looking adjunct lager with a dark golden hue. Refreshing, and thirst quenching. For a cheap macro lager, this one is top notch when one figures in the price. Oddly, this beer will not give you a headache either, which is a benefit in it’s own right. A wonderful choice for the budget conscious adjunct lager everyday "Joe."

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
From can. Carbonic gaseousness, very mild astringent-dusty hop note, a wee bit of sulfur and some corn sweetness in the nose. Pale golden straw clear with visible carbonation, topped with white foamy lacing head. Watery body with high carbonation, fizzy. Starts dull with mild corn sweetness, light metallic notes, and a bit of carbonic acidity. Very little hop bitterness, with fairly clean finish with light sulfur notes. Tasteless after, watery.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Canned in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Pale yellow, minimal head. Aroma of vodka and boiled rice. Sweet and empty with light body. Boozy, yet watery.Notes of metal in the finish. Feels like some by product from a chemical factory.

Ohh yeah used to buy 30 packs of this for like $12. Tastes like metal but will get you drink for cheap.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
24oz can in Seattle. Continuing my lowbrow ratings on my trip home. Lightest yellow-gold, ugly white foam. Light corny grain aroma, smooth creamy lactic grain. Could be worse? most alike the cheap euro lagers of the beers in the States I’ve come across.
