From a 32oz can.

Pours a golden color. Easy to overpour, way too much head. Decent lacing on the glass.

Smell is pretty rough. It’s astingent and not inviting. I can’t quite put my finger on why it smells like that, but why would I put my finger there after smelling this?

Tastes okay actually. It’s not terrible. It’s pretty strong. Perhaps stronger than many malt liquors I’ve had. It’s pretty sweet, but more rough than sweet. I’m guessing there’s a lot of corn in this. There is some bitterness, but that doesn’t contribute to the roughness. It’s weird I know.

Mouthfeel is medium. It’s crisp. It finishes pretty clean. It’s dry. It’s about average for an ice beer. It does have an aftertaste that comes through LONG after a swallow. That’s not so pleasant....

Overall, I really don’t like it so much. I really like Natural Ice and Bud Ice. But this one is not so good. It comes out of a can. It’s weird, the can has the old narrow mouth on it, and it’s hard to pour. Not that it has anything to do with the beer, but it’s not a plus. BUT, for the price, and the alcohol contained therein, it’s not bad.

Pours a clear light gold color with white head. Cereal grains and a little skunk on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with boozy grain.

Can: Another can generously offered from a beer hockey league surplus. Another beer that isn’t even worth my time. Corn, sweet grain, lots of metallic notes, a hint of stale skunky earth. Really sharp & astringent mouth feel & flavor, pretty much as expected. Toasted cereal grains, metallic notes, wretched sweetness & skunk. This beer fucken sucks.

Can from Liquor Collection Honolulu 241214. If this is Milwaukee’s best I would hate to see their worst.

Beast Ice. That’s what it’s called. From can. Pours a fizzy yellow with metallic notes coupled with cereals and corn. Sweet and disgusting. Finishes like a college campus rape.

Big ass 40oz plastic bottle. Pours a clear pale straw body under a minimal fizzy white head. Lots of carbonation in here. The nose is corn and fusal alcohol and not a whole lot else. The taste is just as crappy as the aroma suggests. Bland, watery, corn laced, minimal alcohol at least, but it’s just 5.9% so I suppose that’s no real feat. Thin, watery, and full of carbonation. Pretty ghastly, but a bargain at $2.29 for a 40oz. Ha.

My beer of choice for getting hammered. I don’t like the taste of alcohol in any form, so this does the trick for the lowest price. The more drunk you get the more tolerable it is. It helps me to put lemon or lime juice in it. It actually does have that corn smell everybody talks about. Steel Reserve in the silver can works well for getting drunk fast too.

The high alcohol is all that differentiates this beer from other pale lagers. Astringent aftertaste.

Poured from can into a clear plastic cup: The labels says it’s the best in the entire city of Milwaukee. Who am I to argue? Pours yellow with a foamy white head that vanishes almost instantly. Aroma of corn and sweet malt with a nice skunk spray. Taste is pretty much the same, mildly sweet corn water. Light body, heavily carbonated. Hangover juice.
