1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 wilkie (1209) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - DEC 4, 2004
Can. I had one of these last night. On the last day of class at the University in my town, all of the undergrads start at one end of the main drag and stop in at every bar untill they get to the other end. My watering hole prepared for the occasion by getting several cases of the "beast" and putting it up for sale cheap. Its funny when college kids drink what unemployed homeless construction workers refuse to drink. Anyway, nothing new here--white fizzy head, pale yellow. Weak watery flavor (a little sugary), and no hops in finish.

Elsewhere I called Natural Light, "The offical beer of high school freshmen". This beer is for the other three years. The only reason to drink this beer would be lack of funds, or maybe some nastalgia for the pre 21 years.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2009 Can. Sour malt aroma. Pale yellow with big head. Full sour malt flavor. We did a blind taste test of 15 different pale lagers and believe it or not, the Beast scored higher than all other macros and much higher than any other Miller products. If you’re going to drink BMC products, you might as well save money.

355ml can. Fizzy, pale yellow. Thin head leaves a slight scum on the surface. Light aroma of grain. Watery mouthfeel, no flavour. The can says "Premium Beer".

I probably rated the ice and light versions of this atrocity, so I might as well give my in-depth opinion of this beast ... I would rather die via extreme torture then ever drink this again. The end.

Light straw color with metal/skunk aromas. Taste is corn/metal/skunk. When you’re drinking this beer you want it to be ice cold to hide most of the aromas and taste. Nasty.

Canned (how appropriate): Most bad beers I try to think of something interesting or witty to make the experience worthwhile. However this beer is so worthless it is not worth the effort. Straw color with tiny bubbles and a thin white head. No lacing. Musty weak hops aroma. Thin-bodied and anemic with barely any flavor, and what is there is not pleasant. You shouldn’t even be able to make something this low quality with malt, hops and water. The fact that there is an aftertaste is distressing because it is not an appealing experience. Never again.
