Very pale yellow, small fluffy white head disappears as if ashamed to accompany such a beverage. Corny cardboard aroma. Thin bland beer with a slightly cidery finish. Milwaukee needs to sue for this besmirching of their fair city. LCBO sin bin. BrooklynWallis (14), Cols., Ohio, USA

Decent head, more flavor than one might expect with one caveat: I’ll only drink it in a tall glass, never from the can. drunkdog (4), Virginia, USA does not count | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 9, 2005 extremely affordable, moderate taste, not a very strong or overpowering taste, one of the best deals for an average beer cheapdark (2050), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

Usually if it says best, you better be concerned. 12 oz pull top can, cost me $1 at the local pub but I know I can get this for 33 cents a can by the case if I so desire. I know this is a BMC, so you are mumbling ‘This can’t be the first time he’s tasted it?” No it is not….. I’ve had this countless times before I became an amateur ratebeerian. First, I wanted to get some experience with about 200 ‘good’ beers and really give this brew equal footing before I BMC step on it. So, this is neither a number padder nor a memory rate. This beer is being sampled as I review. It says it is brewed with the finest quality malt, barley and selected grain. Pours like any other good pale yellow beer I’ve poured in my former stooges and present steeler stein. Nice clear light yellow appearance. In a couple of places there is some carbonation rising. No offensive odor, as a matter of fact it does smell a little sweet attractive. Very gentleman like first taste, like a typical pale american lager. Nice creamy palate that is above average in carbonation. The slightly industrial finish is not as smooth as I would like to have for a lager, but there is nothing real offensive to it. I think this may be a drawback to those who love IPA or imp stouts. Overall; decent beer, nice price. LinusStick (1861), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of sweet wheat? Yellow urine color and a decent white head that leaves like it had stolen a car. We used to call it the "Beast" and rightfully so. sickassmick (82), Concord, California, USA

I have to give this beer some respect for accomplishing the goal it had. It is a light ’’water beer’’ with a bottom of the line price point. Why would I even try to degrade it on ratebeer.com? I bought this shit cuz I’m piss broke. The hangover from last night had me until about 5:00p today, and I was extremely thirsty afterwards. 5.99 for 12 is basically soda price. here’s the deal. make beer for people like me. worn out after a crazy day at work. make it watery because i couldn’t afford the vitamin water. let me get home and pound one of these. the thing goes down like a canned dasani. I get to take a deep breath for the first time all day. Aftertaste is 2 seconds of corn. Then dry desert sand and damn! all i have is 11 beers in my fridge. focus on that canned dasani. they say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again hoping for a different result. yeah you gotta probably be a little nuts to drink this, but for a cheap beer this one is pretty OK with me. kassner (477), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA
