on tap-pours a foamy light brown head and dark copper/brown color. Aroma is roasty medium/dark malt-cocoa. Taste is roasty medium/dark malt-cocoa/some caramel, secondary earthy hops. Towards medium body.

tap at brewpub-pours deep brown with a small fuzzy kacki head. nose of chocolate, grains, nuts, and mineral aspects. also has some chawkey notes. flavors of minerals, chocolate, nuts and lite medicinal chraracter. very lite body for a porter, almost a mild ale. ok but not great.
