Bottled at Shinshu Osake Mura (Nagano Sake Village), Tokyo (5.0%). Clear golden, minimal head. Grapefruit yaroma. Light-medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Notes of grass and orange, medium bitterness,. Pleasant, unintrusive and well drinkable.

0,5 l bottle, thanks to larsga for bringing this around the globe! Very perfumed aroma, sweet. Honey, elderflowers. Quite decent beer.

Medium white head. Yellow body. Perfumy hoppy aroma with citric fruity notes. Dry deep yeasty earl gray, citrus, and flowery aroma with elderberry notes. Aftertaste is much the same, but drier. Clean mouthfeel. Very nice! (0.5l bottle from someplace along the Skyline road between Matsumoto and Takayama.)

330 ml bottle. Very pale golden colour. Very tall white fine-laced head that clings to the glass. Acidic lemony hop aroma. Bergamott. Pale malts. Crisp hop flavours. Citrus flavours balanced by high carbonation. Very refreshing.

My Bottom Line:
This well-crafted, low gravity Golden Ale offers enough crunchy pale malts to dance with the citrusy and floral hoppiness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the clear blond.
-The finish is one of beer’s finest moments, with its continuing hay-cereal crispness and wooden, herbal hop bitterness.
-The fine carbonation increases drinkability, yet overshadows some of the flavor profile’s subtleties.
-This combination of Saaz and Cascade is entertaining and done with skill.

On tap at the brewery tasting room.

I’ve had this on tap before and it was much better. Pale Golden color, thin light head. Dog food and spice mix it up in the nose. Thin light bodied with metalic, fruits with a touch of spice. Dry lightly spiced finish. Damn, I can’t figure out what that spice is.

Bottle. Pilner Urquell’s little brother. Other that a little bit of dog food in the aroma, I can’t really find anything offensive or wrong with it and so Ima call this a drinkable golden ale. Very light appearance, medium head.
