My Bottom Line:
This Blond Ale’s shy straw and subtle citrusy, herbal hops definitely point at a watered down version of their regular Golden Ale recipe, and a semi-successful one at that.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam disappears into the very pale golden.
-This is quite carbonated, but it doesn’t bother that much in the end.
-The body is obviously feathery, but the maltiness still retains some crispness.
-This is a well-brewed, low gravity Blond Ale, but its flavor profile is surely not for the beer geek.

On tap at the brewery restaurant.

Bottle at the Nagano Sake Village. Dark gold color. Clear medium height, fine head. Very fruity aroma, honey, caramel, sweet. Honey-like flavor. Very malty, but not very interesting. Not enough hops. Thick and cloyingly sweet.

Pale golden color. Peaches, pineapples bananas in the nose. Light body, citrus and peachy. Light dry citrusy finish. It reminded me of a watered down version of the golden ale.
