Tap at Shinshu Sake Mura. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity and sweet, but not so strong. Bit of black treacle and liquorice!
Taste is pretty good, bit of treacle, toffee apple, touch of spice. Raisins and dried fruit. Almost Belgian sweetness. Biscuity and sweet malt. Pretty nice, and quite surprising.

On tap at the Ibaraki Bakuon 2013 festival 6% a nice clear honey amber brown. The aroma is a nice bready body with a tasty caramel flavor. Not so complex but solid.

Bottle from Yamaoka. Caramel malt aroma, earthy, dirty hops with grass. Smells like an amber ale. Rich amber malts, caramel, dark fruit, raisin, earthy hops. Very nice. Rich and very flavorful. Very light bitterness. Nice body too. Darn good stuff. A proper festbier, verging on a Vienna.
