Bottle, 660ml. Pours a clear, pale golden colour with plenty of carbonation and a thick offwhite head with good retention. Deep, sweet and spicy, citrus aroma: coriander, orange zest, grainy yeast, white pepper and vanilla. Medium bodied, with a musky, earthy character, Slightly dry and astringent, with a subtle, stinging bitterness that does not disappoint. Finish is too controlled, some would say weak, albeit with some decent citrus explosion. A decent witbier for the summer, though I agree with another rater that these locally produced Minerva are way overpriced.

Bottle, 660ml. A golden beer with a big foamy head that fades away after a couple of minutes, but not completely. It has a fruity aroma, especially of bananas, and some dough. Taste is bitter, but not very strong. Again there is some yeast. It has an alcoholic finish and some carbonation and astringency. From what I have been told, a typical Witbier.

Nice turbid straw color with a very creamy, snow-white head that dissipates too quickly. The aroma is rich in coriander spiciness and a good share of pils-like breadiness. I noticed almost no citrics in the aroma. The taste is very refreshing but too mild with a neutral finish and thin body. Good for a hot spring but not for honoring the style. I found myself still tasting the coriander in my teeth the following morning, which was odd.

Stupidly expensive. It was nice to drink, very aromatic. Very nice foam and very nice cloudy body but 7 dollars for a 500 mL doesn’t worth it.

crackedmachine (471) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 26, 2011
Bottle, 660ml. Pours cloudy pale orange with a thin off-white head. Candy-like sweetness dominates aroma, with lighter hints of bread, yeast, orange, and anise. The flavor is sweet, with an almost corn-like flavor, and a slightly bitter finish. Light on the carbonation, a bit flat. Not especially good.
