660ml bottle: Pours a hazy copper with a good off white head that persists. Malty aroma with a slight fruitiness. Tastes of malt with a hint of dark chocolate. Some fruitiness from the hops perhaps. Medium bitterness, medium body and medium carbonation. Beer I would order again.

Bottle sample at DSG’s 10K tasting at the Dancing Camel. Thanks Alexey. Clear gold and headless. A little toasty but insignificant aroma that turns into a stink. Sweet and a little corny taste. Light body, corny finish.

Bottle sample at DSG’s 10K rating celebration tasting. Thanks Alexey. Clear orange color. Aroma is sweet with honey, candy and alcohol in the nose. Sweet, flavors of honey, raisins, oxidized and quite boozy. Syrupy and hard to drink.

Bottle sample at DSG’s 10K rating celebration tasting at Dancing Camel, Tel Aviv. Thanks Alexey. Clear golden with white head. Aroma of tequila, spices, herbs and salted snack. The flavor has notes of salted snack, caramel, herbs, maple, alcoholic and sticky, the oak is unnoticeable. Medium-bodied.

At a tasting, thanks, almost no head, quite clear deepish orange color, aroma of vanila and dried apricots with some toastiness in the back, malty jammy flavor with some green shrubs, vanila and maple, noticable sweetness, Nice but not overly exciting.

Cloudy amber. HOlds A Thin White head. Barrel aroma. Tequila barrel flavor is crisp and a few reading twist. A little sweet, criap, refresing and with mineral character. Pretty good. Medium light body and hides it’s strength well.

Bottle in Mexico City-- Pours clear amber with thin white head. Nose is very discrete. Aromas are maize, tequila, something reminding cactus, an orange peel hint. Average carbonation, oily texture. Long sour finish. Curious and original. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pleasant sweet bready malts. Orange, tiny head. Woody, maybe a bit cactussy, but very sweet. However, it’s not sticky. In fact, it’s a little watery. No sign of 7% at all. Tastes a bit old and oxidised, but I quite like that. Easily the best beer’ve had that’s had a Tequila reference in it.

Wow this beer is surprisingly good! This is what you get when you take a good base for beer and age it in one of the best hard liquors out there. Pours a deep amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma of caramel, wood, oak, tequila and a soft alcohol burn. Taste is caramel that’s a little burnt but not harsh, wood, oak, light well balanced tequila, light smoke and a smooth balanced bitterness on the finish. Finish is semi dry which finishes this beer off nicely... Pleasant surprise!
