Bottled. Poured bright honeyed golden with a short cap of whitish head. The aroma picked up lightly-toasted honey, bready, and corn sweetness with mild floral accents.. not bad, but quite adjunct-ey. The flavor had more honey and corn at the core with grassy and grainy bitterness surrounding.. tacky malts and light bitters on the finish. Light-bodied with mild-to-moderate bitterness on the palate.. scratchy carbonation and tacky maltage.. nothing really good here.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2009 Cloudy dark yellow colour, minimal head. Some interesting aromas....green olive, sweet pumpernickel, soft caramel, but missing the hops. Hops still almost absent in the mouth. A sharp muted dull taste but not accompanied by the smooth bitter grains associated with an pils. Finish has hints of flowers.

Shit... totally forgot I poured this. Oh well, I ain’t cooling it down cause Minhas brewed it and it won’t matter one bit. Boring gold brew with a decent amount of foamy white head that sticks around for quite awhile. The aroma is very sweet now - more so than at the initial pour. Sweet grain, nameless fruit, slight skunk, ample malt content with a touch of caramel, my nose wants to pick up metal but I just can’t convince it. Most of that sweetness is not found in the taste leaving the majority of the flavour to the soft malts, slight sourness that comes near the finish of every sip. The hops blend in pretty well considering what we are working with here. The more I think about it the more this resembles a big 40oz on something. Why do I feel a head ache coming on? I’m confused. I’ve enjoyed this but it’s pretty much crap.

In the bottle from a cheap sampler pack from HyVee. This smells soapy and a bit like vegetables. I cracked one of these open right after mowing the yard and it STILL SUCKED!!! What does that tell you? This leaves a very upleasant hop bitterness of something spoiled on your tongue long after you’ve finished the beer. Another Minhas classic!

Yellow pour, white head. Light aroma of hops and pale malts. Sweet flavor without much hop flavor at all. Easy to drink. Light body.

dark yellow pour with a very large off-white head. Aroma is of malts and citrus. Taste is mildly sweet, with lots of malts. A slightly creamy finish makes this beer go down smooth. Other than that, this beer is not bad, but nothing special here.

Bottle and served in a pilsner glass (sort of): Standard clean golden hue with a good lasting frothy head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of grassy noble hops, grainy malts, and dusty yeast esters. The taste starts with a hint of bready malt sweetness before the slight hop character is found. There is a note of corn adjunct but it not at the level of some macros. What is missing here is any level of crispness and honesltly refreshment. Quite tepid and boring. Hardly bad but hardly a dream either... next.

Bottle shared by nuplastikk: Pours a transparent bright golden with a thin wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of grainy pale malt and a touch of Saaz hops. Body starts semi-sweet and grainy with a touch of adjuncty flavor before a slightly drier watery finish. Pretty drinkable, but dull.

Light golden color, minimal off white head. Aroma of buttered toast/old socks, maybe the yeast.
