341ml bottle pours brown in color with a figner of off-white head that settles quickly to reveal only a few spots of lacing. Aroma is light roasted malts with some light chocolate and grassy hops. Taste is light roasted malt bitterness with some faint chocolate malt sweetness followed up with a mild grassy hop bitterness. Very thin body for the style and light carbonation. Just doesnít quite live up to the style, a poorly done beer.

75 cl bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada. Slightly hazy copper-brown. Zero head. Faint syrupy sweet aroma, some metallic lingering. Sweet, some bright hoppiness then a liquorice finish.

Pours dark mahogany tinted brown with a 2 finger, chunky tan head that fades to a thick skim after a couple of minutes and leaves some sparse lacing from there. Aroma is toasted pecan, sweet grain, light roast and plain croutons. Flavor is sweet grain, light roast, a hint of smoke, dates, vanilla, some medicinal notes, dry wood and light herbal hops. Finishes with roast, sweet wheat bread, a hint of espresso, slightly medicinal. Palate is thin, a little oily and has a moderate, sharpe feeling carbonation. Not bad, reminds me of a schwarzbier.

Bottle. Overly sweet nose with a little ash and burned notes amid the roast. Just a little cocoa. Pours very dark red with ruby highlights and a noisy, rocky light tan head. Taste is bittersweet leaning heavily to the sweet side, some syrupy caramel, red berry, and very nearly artificial sweetener. Some dark earthy undertones but more in the direction of earth. Full body, lightly slick and lightly creamy. Aftertaste is very cigarette-ashy but pleasant. Again, unclean, and something I wonít be buying again, but there are some good flavors in here and itís possible to scrape out more than a modicum of pleasure.

This beer pours a translucent brown color with a thin off white head. The aroma is sweet, very malty with a hint of alcohol. The flavor is much the sane as the aroma. A pretty good beer, but Iíd have to be in the right mood for a lighter, sweeter bock.

Rather thin in body although it does have a decent maltiness. Kind of bland but passable.

Bottled. Poured deep cola brown with a short, creamy cap of tan head. The aroma picked up artificially-sweetened caramel, chocolate, and molasses accented by some vanilla.. almost like a beer soda. The flavor found very sweet molasses and chocolate notes at the core, again with a little vanilla on the edges.. bitterness was very light and earthy.. finished sweet with a bit more of the molasses and vanilla. Lighter-bodied and overly sweet on the palate, but no serious flaws or infection noted.. maybe I had a "good" bottle of it.

bottle - Pours dark amber and has a toasty malt aroma. The flavor is toasted, slightly grainy caramel malt. Itís too watery once again though not as much so as the previous two Minhas beers I rated (Farmhouse and Pilsner). Drinkable and really boring.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2013 Bottle share from Ryan, dark cola pour with a thin off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grain, and nuts. Taste is grain, caramel sweetness, decent malt, quite light body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The initial taste comes on really strong, much more than you expect from the aroma. There is a lot of malt flavour and it leave a bit of bitterness in your mouth. After the bitterness clears you get the coffee and sweetness of the flavours.
