2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(12oz bottle) Courtesy of my father-in-law, he said this is available in Saskatchewan at the provincial liquor store?? Pours a dark, brown body and a light, foamy almond head. Nose is very cereal. The flavour is doughy and grainy. Nothing terribly notable about this beer other than I was anticipating it being much worse. Its passable.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
341ml bottle pours brown in color with a figner of off-white head that settles quickly to reveal only a few spots of lacing. Aroma is light roasted malts with some light chocolate and grassy hops. Taste is light roasted malt bitterness with some faint chocolate malt sweetness followed up with a mild grassy hop bitterness. Very thin body for the style and light carbonation. Just doesn’t quite live up to the style, a poorly done beer.

75 cl bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada. Slightly hazy copper-brown. Zero head. Faint syrupy sweet aroma, some metallic lingering. Sweet, some bright hoppiness then a liquorice finish.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours dark mahogany tinted brown with a 2 finger, chunky tan head that fades to a thick skim after a couple of minutes and leaves some sparse lacing from there. Aroma is toasted pecan, sweet grain, light roast and plain croutons. Flavor is sweet grain, light roast, a hint of smoke, dates, vanilla, some medicinal notes, dry wood and light herbal hops. Finishes with roast, sweet wheat bread, a hint of espresso, slightly medicinal. Palate is thin, a little oily and has a moderate, sharpe feeling carbonation. Not bad, reminds me of a schwarzbier.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Overly sweet nose with a little ash and burned notes amid the roast. Just a little cocoa. Pours very dark red with ruby highlights and a noisy, rocky light tan head. Taste is bittersweet leaning heavily to the sweet side, some syrupy caramel, red berry, and very nearly artificial sweetener. Some dark earthy undertones but more in the direction of earth. Full body, lightly slick and lightly creamy. Aftertaste is very cigarette-ashy but pleasant. Again, unclean, and something I won’t be buying again, but there are some good flavors in here and it’s possible to scrape out more than a modicum of pleasure.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This beer pours a translucent brown color with a thin off white head. The aroma is sweet, very malty with a hint of alcohol. The flavor is much the sane as the aroma. A pretty good beer, but I’d have to be in the right mood for a lighter, sweeter bock.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Rather thin in body although it does have a decent maltiness. Kind of bland but passable.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled. Poured deep cola brown with a short, creamy cap of tan head. The aroma picked up artificially-sweetened caramel, chocolate, and molasses accented by some vanilla.. almost like a beer soda. The flavor found very sweet molasses and chocolate notes at the core, again with a little vanilla on the edges.. bitterness was very light and earthy.. finished sweet with a bit more of the molasses and vanilla. Lighter-bodied and overly sweet on the palate, but no serious flaws or infection noted.. maybe I had a "good" bottle of it.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
bottle - Pours dark amber and has a toasty malt aroma. The flavor is toasted, slightly grainy caramel malt. It’s too watery once again though not as much so as the previous two Minhas beers I rated (Farmhouse and Pilsner). Drinkable and really boring.
