2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from the Minhas brewery gift shop in Monroe, WI. Dark brown pour with a thin cream colored head. Aroma is sweet malt and slightly roasty. Thin watery palate. Taste is that of cold coffee (stole that comparison from a prior rater - I like the comparison), with a touch of sweet malt. Pretty much a right down the middle beer - nothing exceptional, but not too bad either. Probably the best thing Iíve had from Minhas to date.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear brown color with an off-white head that doesnít last long. Aroma is a strong sweet malts with caramel, toasty overtone and no hops present. Taste is a simple malt flavor and lots of caramel, too much artificial sweetness. Overall itís drinkable but too sweet.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A middling dark lager, stale/stemmy hop flavor next to a weak, orphaned roast malt. Meh. Nice malty aroma though.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Found this one bottled in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Clear, medium brown pour with a fizzy tan head, cerealy malty taste with a sour finish. Not too impressive.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a deep brownish amber color with a good medium head that shows a nice retention. The aroma is lightly buttery and mildly reminiscent of coffee to some degree. The flavor is a little tart and nutty with a light roastiness and overall itís pretty bland.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tasted at Beer Dabbler event in St. Paul. Not worth saying too much about. Kind of a sour, thin bock.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Color fairly attractive with advertised rouge tones--fizzy macro head. Flavor slightly sweet, slightly tangy, not bad but overpowered by excessive carbonation, which ruins any reasonable mouthfeel it might have otherwise had. Very mediocre macro effort

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Deep brown with red backlights...
tall, rough-bubbled , light tan head.
Scent is caramel, malt...woody.
Taste is a creamy, toffee-caramel.....
very smooth, but way too watery.
This one fools you.....looks/smells nice, then letís you down.
More backbone and this could be a winner.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle and served in standard pint glass: Pours deep cola brown with a fading off-white head and some lace. The aroma has notes of walnut, caramel and bready malts, hint of grassy hops, some corn and veggie esters along with a dash of lacto sourness. The taste starts malty enough but there is also a twang that is not wanted. Nutty and bready with a hint of sugar. The mouth feel is watery as expected. Okay enough and the best of the four I tried but it is hardly even an average brew IMO.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz bottle 9/11/09 (RIP Flts 11 & 77)-Pours a dark brown with a small loose tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and caramel. Taste of the same with a bit of vanilla and sugars. This light to medium bodied brew is not bad. Has potential.
