Amber body. Smells like alcohol and is cloyingly sweet with a thin body. Terrible.

Poured from bottle, pours a decent amber color with no head at all, aroma is of grains and little malt, taste has a bitter metal taste that does not go well with the malt, overall just not good.

On tap @ Minhaus Brewery after the tour. A nice red-amber appearance with a decent head. Aroma of hay and light hops. Taste was of malts and grains. Overall, decent but not the best amber I’ve had.

Bottle. Very sweet nose, malty and lightly sugary with some toast and fruit. Amber body with a short and then gone beige head. A little bit of ash in the body, dryish with airy malt and light metal. Consistent carbonation, lightly tart, a little dirty. Meh.

Bottle. Pour was light amber color with a an aroma of slight caramel, lightly sweet malt, and a touch of roast. Flavor was on the drier side with only a little malt character and no hop bitterness. Very one dimensional.

Light copper color with a bit of a haze and a thin white head. MIld wheat aroma and a taste to match with a slightly sweet aftertaste that somewhat resembles honey. A little bland.

bottle - Pours very light amber with an aroma of caramel malt and grain. The flavor is of sweet caramel malt, grain, and some off tasting sourness. It’s light bodied and a little watery. Lame beer. Based on the four beers in their sampler, calling Minhas beer "craft beer" is a misuse of the term.

RSRIZZO (1958) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 29, 2009
From a 12 oz bottle (courtesy of Headbanger) in a Shaker at 40°. Color is a hazy golden brown with very good carbonation and a tight off white head. Aroma caramel and roasted malt. Taste is crisp and spicy. Starting with a lighter medium body it goes down easy with a crisp feel. Finish is mild malt flavor with a light caramel taste, little spice and end with a light bitterness. After taste is a bland fizzy feel. This is a bland, simple amber.

Narnad (1518) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - SEP 23, 2009
Pours from the bottle a hazy amber color with a big, frothy white head. Aroma is kinda metallic smelling with some corn, grainy straw notes with a light creamy vanilla nose. Flavor has a light grainy, light vanilla, grassy hops, a strong metallic note towards the end to go along with the sweet finish. Light density, moderate carbonation rate and some good white lacing on the glass. Overall the flavor was only slightly better than the aroma but it just seemed a bit weird with nothing really standing out to make it a good brew.
