Hmm, not as terrible as i was expecting but fairly strange. Average pour, a decent smell, & the taste is actually normal until the finish. A very odd sweetness that lingers on the tongue makes this beer unique but not necessarily good. I’m not sure about the extremely low scores but I probably wouldn’t recommend this beer either.

May 19, 2013 - bottle from Jake. Orange pour with white head that faded fast. Grain, malt and maybe funky hops in aroma. Taste was watery, sugary sweet and a grainy bitter finish.

Pours cloudy tea-amber with a skim of off-white foam.
Aroma of flat cola, caramel.
Taste is bready, caramel...
Flat and lifeless...on the plus side, I’m no longer capable of being let down by these guys.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear light amber with a half finger of white head. Aroma of caramel, grains and light hops. Taste is light bitter and light sweet. Lively carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, not bad. Nothing really special but drinkable.

Snygg öl: Bärnstensfärgad och med ett gräddigt vitt skum, som lämnar gardiner efter sig på insidan av glaset. Helt okey att både dofta på och dricka av dessutom. Aromer av fikon, russin och karamell. Smaker av russin, karamell, frukt och röda bär. En svag beska på slutet.

I took a tour of the Minhas Craft brewery in Monroe, WI in late Summer 2010. As a parting gift for taking the tour they gave away free bottles of beer and Swiss Amber was one of them.
Swiss Amber pours a dark golden color. It drinks with a heavy taste like a good beer but swallows like cheap beer. Very little after taste. Something new to try but probably not a regular purchase.

It tasted to me like a brown ale, very nice and sweet in tatse. NIce foam although not so high features after a while.

Bottle. Dark amber pour. Smells of caramel with bitter notes. The taste is not good. Not sure why i keep giving minhas a chance.

Bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and a hint of fruittiness with a smooth lingering carmel finish.

On tap at Monroe Cheese Festival, Weak in comparison to any amber beers I have had. Probably rated it higher because I liked the polka music the city band was playing. Has the typical minhas flavor- watery and chemicals.
