1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2008 Pours a pale yellow with a fluffy head. Aroma is sour, a bit funky at first, but settles. Thereís also some grain, some corn, some grass. Taste is bready, very earthy. Also watery. Light body, lots of carbonation, but overall kind of disgusting.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Poured Cloudy yellow with no head. Grainy aroma. Taste - citrus and malt with a cloying sweetness. Not very good in my opinion.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle. Grainy, grassy, sweet malt liquor nose. A little sticky metal, less citrus. Dirty straw pour, big creamy white head with good duration and retention. Light body with pale malt. Cloying taste, thin and corny with husky grain and easing off into a bready taste. Crisp carbonation but it spends its load too quickly. Light perfume, some old, rotting fruit, and a whole lot of turn-offs. Not exactly clean.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours golden with lots of carbonation and white head. The aroma has pale malt, creaminess, corn and light spice. Medium / light body that unlikely slick with moderate carbonation. The flavor starts off fair with aroma traits, but then there is artificial sweetener aspect that kicks in. While this is not totally revolting, itís not really pleasant either. Iíll probably just save this for non-beer geek friends.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a golden color. Aroma is skunk, corn, and a bit of citrus. Taste is about the same. Tastes like a Miller Chill with some nutty malts. Better than what I expected, which wasnít much.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: MAY 4, 2008 Many of the previous reviews havenít been particularly favorable, but if you simply need a beer to unwind with, some easy drinking, this will fit the bill. It isnít by any means a beer for connoisseurs, but then I donít think thatís what anyone expects either. What it is: namely, an easy to drink golden ale with average flavors. I didnít have any problems with over-carbonation, or an under-impressive head, like some reviewers did.
At first, I even found the aroma strangely enticing, with the obvious caramel and citrus scent besides the subtler corn scent, and those flavors carry the first taste. It closes with a slightly nutty/toasted finish. The problem is when you continue to drink it -- itís something of a sloppy beer, and the fruit (some banana even?) and caramel overpower what could be a clean, simple wheat beer. That said, if you just need a beer for lounging on the couch with football or a movie, or a beer for an afternoon of playing cards, thisíll work.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a cloudy, highly carbonated pale golden with a smallish white film head. Aroma is sweet malt, citrus, banana and corn. Flavor is initially sweet malt with some caramel and citrus then finishes with a strange metallic wheat flavor. Very thin body. I bought this one thinking it was a Saison that I hadnít yet tried, that is what "Farmhouse Ale" means right?

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pale yellow with a thin white head. Light on aroma, mostly corn. Light on taste as well. Overly carbonated. Eh, not so good.
