COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lazy Mutt is an unfiltered ale, cloudy and pale in color. The off-white foam slowly disappears to reveal a slight citrus aroma. A citrusy palate gives way to a light malty sweetness touched by a hint of corn. Bottle conditioned ale made with Canadian 2 row malt and Galena and Tettnag variety of fine hops.

16oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a very lightly hazy dark gold with about a finger of thick white head. Aroma of corn and grains with a good dose of honey and wheat. Very light citrus. Taste is light sweet and very lightly bitter. Corn, grains and honey. Light citrus and a little skunk. Light bodied with a slightly sticky texture. Fizzy carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not too bad. Nothing I would seek out, but Iíll enjoy this one.

Poured a hazy orange color with almost no head. Aroma of oranges and cream with a touch of caramel. Very carbonated. Taste has lots of fruit, mainly apples. Kinda like cider. Not much else in the flavor, just like carbonated apple cider. Overall itís drinkable and tasty, but not a great beer.

Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 11/7/12

Aroma: The nose has some malty notes, straw, yeast, lemon, and a little bit of spice
Appearance: The pour is a dark and hazed yellow color with a small, fizzy white head
Flavor: The taste is on the sweet side, a touch off/mildly infected, grainy, not much else beyond that
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an alright mouthfeel, but the finish is kind of "off"
Overall Impression: Iím not going to spend very long on this, it isnít a drain pour, but it is just not a very good beer. I wouldnít suggest purchasing one.

Vaguely lemony scent emanates from a metallic tall boy environment. Pours a hazy yellow, looks like a hefe...just looks. Strange sweet to sour taste, kind of like the bad reisling the wife enjoys. Guess that passes as Pseudo-French. Donít you love how Minhas brags about canning their beers: íkeg-like quality." Been getting this brewer on the cheap lately, and most a palatable. This one manages to be less palatable than most cheap lagers.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a lingering ring of off white foam. Aromas of straw, yeast, pear and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw, yeast and fruittiness with a crisp lingering fruity finish.

16 oz. can shared by dbsdelight- thanks, Dan. Yes! Another Minhas beer for me- RapeBeer would be proud. "Serve in a frosted glass" is right on the can, so all signs are positive so far. Pours a hazy straw gold color with a small white head that dissipates quickly. Notes of banana, straw, bread, pale malts, sugar, and even a floral note. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, bready mouthfeel. Actually has some color and body. That doesnít make it good, but there was certainly nothing offensive here. Better than my low, low expectations.

Bottle from State Line. Pours hazy dark straw orangish with minimal white head and a fizzy body. Nose is funky pale malt, florals, hopcitrus. Tastes medium to light in palate, with an overall sweetness, mild funk, hopcitrus, and pale malt. Overall this one is below average.

Pours a dark golden color. smell is musty, medicinal. Taste is an off flavor, some cough syrup, not very good. Overall best avoided.

Rich gold color with wisps of smoke floating around; skim coat of clean white head, and no lace. The problem with this brew is that it is light sour citrus and wheat that doesnít continue through the palate or into the finish. There is very little going on, leaving one with a slightly sour stomach - not good for beer drinking. Not recommended.
