Cloudy gold w/ white head. Funky grainy, grassy aroma. Taste is pretty good...definitely has a saison flavor. Flavor of sweet corn, grains and fruity. Texture is fairly creamy. Very drinkable. Pretty good.

I liked it. Judging by comments here, some people must have just got a bad bottle or a bad batch. Very refreshing ale. Fruity, astringent, just the right touch of sour. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with small head. Perfect beer for a hot summer’s day.

Aroma is sweet and citrusy with a bit of a grass. Pours a beautiful golden, bit hazy with a fizzy white head. Taste is light and sweet. Easy on the palate, can feel the carbonation. Overall a nice light ale, definitely a summertime brew.

12oz bottle pours golden/orange with small quickly fading white head. Aroma is a rotten vegetable caramel and yeast. Taste is similar to aroma with a really awful overly caramel sweetness and alcohol. Gross.

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2010 I still haven’t made my way to the brewery. Planning and hoping for Monday (three days from today). I had this beer a while back, so I would love to sample it again during the tour!
Had it today, and enjoyed it so much I had to have another! My friend said it right, "This beer tastes like melted butter". It does, and I love it!

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a White head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Sweetish fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a sweetish malty finish.

Sweet bread, sweet nothing, sweet crap, sweet malt, sweet thin body, sweet amber orange. Just terrible.

Pours hazy yellow with white head, aroma is some biscuit, touch of earth, and some yeast character. Taste is spicy, earthy, with a sweet finish. Not too bad, but tastes were weak and body was thin.

Poured from bottle, pours a very light yellow with a thin white head, aroma reminds me of a farm with hay and grass, taste is sweet that is some what earthy and funky.

On tap at Minhaus post-tour tasting room. A nice light gold with a nice head that faded to lace with maintanence. An aroma of malt with a hint of fruitiness. Tasted like a nice cream ale - malt with a hint of corn and light hop finish. To me it tasted very similar to Spotted Cow or Lake Louie Coon Rock. Overall a nice ale worth repeating.
