Pours a golden color. Aroma is skunk, corn, and a bit of citrus. Taste is about the same. Tastes like a Miller Chill with some nutty malts. Better than what I expected, which wasn’t much.

Many of the previous reviews haven’t been particularly favorable, but if you simply need a beer to unwind with, some easy drinking, this will fit the bill. It isn’t by any means a beer for connoisseurs, but then I don’t think that’s what anyone expects either. What it is: namely, an easy to drink golden ale with average flavors. I didn’t have any problems with over-carbonation, or an under-impressive head, like some reviewers did. At first, I even found the aroma strangely enticing, with the obvious caramel and citrus scent besides the subtler corn scent, and those flavors carry the first taste. It closes with a slightly nutty/toasted finish. The problem is when you continue to drink it -- it’s something of a sloppy beer, and the fruit (some banana even?) and caramel overpower what could be a clean, simple wheat beer. That said, if you just need a beer for lounging on the couch with football or a movie, or a beer for an afternoon of playing cards, this’ll work.

Non-existant head. Pours golden brown. Tastes of corn and a bit of wheat. Easy drinking.

Pours a cloudy, highly carbonated pale golden with a smallish white film head. Aroma is sweet malt, citrus, banana and corn. Flavor is initially sweet malt with some caramel and citrus then finishes with a strange metallic wheat flavor. Very thin body. I bought this one thinking it was a Saison that I hadn’t yet tried, that is what "Farmhouse Ale" means right?

Pale yellow with a thin white head. Light on aroma, mostly corn. Light on taste as well. Overly carbonated. Eh, not so good.

Pours cloudy amber, no head at all, nose and taste of corn, cardboard, and hay. Club soda finish. Pretty ugly.

Golden, slightly cloudy, with white sticking head. Mild Carmel, mild citrus, grain, with hop finish, but bland. Dry, sour bitter finish.

About three sips had me running to this Web site, to see if others incurred the same ill effects, or if mine had gone bad. Is there corn in this? Brings memories of my visit to a corn ethanol plant. Ever smelled one? But after about the fourth Mutt (on different days) I began to appreciate its differences. Maybe you gotta get an 8-pack to acquire the taste.
