COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION This is a fine Canadian-style lager with a full-bodied and strong head. It is made in small batches using pure 2-row barley, premium hops from the Pacific NW, deep well water and our proprietary yeast. It is placed in cold storage (lagered) for a minimum of 30 days resulting in a clean, crisp, smooth tasting beer.

Pours a clear pale gold with a little head that disappears quickly. Aroma of grains, a little sour citrus and bleach. Taste is light sweet. Corn and grains with that distinct malt-liquor taste. And again, a little bleach in there. Full bodied with a sticky yet slick texture. Somewhat flat carbonation and an entirely too-long of a finish. Overall, not really my cup of tea.

Slogan: "Damn Good Beer" and I add "for a 17 year old who wants a cheap drunk from very low-end beer".
A - Straw colour with fast disappearing head. Good appearance for its style.
S - Sweet malt with slight dimethyl sulfide smell (cabbage) but phenol overtones are noted after a minute.
T - No taste, no hops, overly sweet to cover above mentioned off flavours.
M - No body with high carbonation at start. Finishes with odd taste at back of tongue I cannot place that is probably due to phenols.
Overall: Cheap and bad tasting low-end beer with exaggerated claims to their "craft brewed" and "premium hops from the Pacific NW" which are both completely absent.
Serving type: Bottle
0.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 esoxangler (74) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 30, 2013
This is boxer lager with .5% more alcohol and the same horrible, metallic/plastic taste and smell. i bought it because its four pack of pounders were 2 dollars. should have looked that it was from minhas, but then again, at that cheap i should have expected it.
