Sampled at my brothers. Pours a deep amber/copper wit white head. Nose is toast and biscuits, mild herbal noble hop aromas. On taste, more of the bready toast notes. Minimal hopping. Decent Oktoberfest.

Bottle. Pour is cloudy red brown, minimal head. Aroma of bread, caramel, banana, and yeast. Taste is sweet and musty. OK

Aroma is bananas and artificial caramel. The flavor is bananas, mildly artificial caramel, a thin body and a mildly sour finish.

Dispensed to plastic as Pecatonica Oktoberfest at the Lion’s Club concession for the Sister Bay WI. Fall Fest. Showed a clear walnut color, with a decent layer of off white/light tan head foam, and spotty lacing. The nose was subtle toast, fair malt, with a hint of caramel sweetness. Light to medium bodied, with appropriate carbonation, and a moderate hop bitterness that was mildly earthy. A passably sessionable seasonal that successfully washed down the brats.

Nice deep amber pout with a fizzy, off white head. Aroma of sweet bread, caramely, candy corn. Taste is sweet malts, candy corn, and a bit of earthy, leaf funk. You know standard marzen flavor. Don't let the leaf funk comment put you off, this is a nice tasting beer. Medium to full bodied with a solid finish. Went well with a stew and the cooling autumn weather. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Labelled as Petactonica. Btw fuck these idiot inbred fucks, in it for the trend. FUCK YOU. Didn’t pour it but it is unadulterated booze, caramel, and nuts in the smell. SMells like it was lagered for about 5 minutes. Flavor is similiar, with some added metallic character. FUCK YOU Petactonica you fucking inbred fucks. Stop cashing in on this trend.

Bottled under the label “Pecatonica Oktoberfest” This pours a clear, amber color with a foamy, off-white head. There are some malts and slight spices in the aroma. The taste is very bland and slightly sour. Not the type of malty flavor you would expect and there is not much spice to the flavor either. It finishes fairly unpleasant and rather chalky. But that’s kind of what I expected from a beer that contracted with Minhas to brew their beer for them.
