There are times when an ice-cold beer fits the bill. This is an easy-drinking brew that’s reliably tasty without being fussy. It’s a straightforward beer with good hop flavor without it being over the top. This speaks of a simpler time when you could order a beer, and they wouldn’t bring you a full menu. They’d just bring a good beer at a good price. Life can be complicated, but your beer does not have to be. Enjoy the taste of Simpler Times.

It reminds me of the simpler times. Times when all beers were 6.2% abv. Times when beers eschewed fancy cans. Times when beers made you shudder every other sip. I’m drinking it now, and I feel like Robert Deniro in The Deerhuner. Before the war that is.

12oz can - I guess if you wanted to save a few dollars and go this route, you could. Aside from being really cheap, not Bud/Miller/Coors and an okay beer in a can you shouldn’t expect too much from this beer. Corn would be the one item in both the aroma and flavor that was easy to pick-out. But there was also some wet grass that was there, which I would say could be hops...or maybe they used wet grass in the ingredient list. A touch of agave syrup/creamed corn on the palate, with just a bit of hop bite. Easy to drink for sure.

Save your time and money. The beer is horrible. It’s cheap for a reason. No quality. ALL THE BEER is watery dish-water. Sure, one can buy this from Trader Joe’s for a low price, but really, what you get is nothing on par to quality. I’d rather put the extra money towards a pint or six pack of something more proven and worthwhile. This beer is made cheap for a reason and its to sell out. The owners, both non brew-masters by the way, just some trust fund rich kids, are slinging this dishwater to steal your money. I mean go on the website, it shows the guy walking out of his Escalade SUV and the interviews with him and the sister "co-owner" show the trust fund babies they are...both siblings are narcissistic and ridiculous. I would give this a zero rating if I could. I really am not a troll, I only tell the truth.

Straight from can. Macro corn and biscuit aromas. Sweet and sour grass, corn, and hay upfront turning dry in the medium length cloying finish.

"if i were rating this on price alone, it would score higher. as it was, i was hoping for but not really expecting, an average beer. what i got was a step above a typical macro lager, but just a step. lots of corn sweetness, a touch of hops, slightly unpleasant carbonation...little else. no complexity. not better/worse ice cold or warming. just meh. a very tiny bit more interesting than the pils."

Golden pour. Small white head. No lacing. Muddled aroma of malt and vegetation. Taste is a bitter mirror of the sane.

Cereal grains with some candy/vanilla sweetness, but heavy on the corn. Pure malt throughout, not a sign of any hops. Slick and sweet.

Faint aroma of corn, grains, and sweet malt. Deep yellow color with a tan head. Off sweatness, almost artificial up front. No bitterness to blance. Undrinkable.

This is remarkably similar to bad Polish mocne. It is like malt liquor but not quite the same. It smells like turf grass and malt syrup and tastes sweet and metallic. There are notes of cotton candy, Cap’n Crunch and oxidation on a penny. It does have nice, creamy carbonation which is something brewers who generally make beer that tastes good have trouble achieving. In this way, this beer is something of a paradox. In other ways, this beer is just bad. Take what you want from that.
