1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Unpleasantly sweet, with the most flavorful component being the yeast. Tastes better served extremely cold, but you should probably just skip it all together.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Had as Boatswain American IPA. Pours a clear, dark amber with a fairly thick, though not persistent, pale golden tan head. Aroma is not at all strong and hardly registers. Flavor is malty, a little sweet, slightly hoppy, more like a regular ol’ ale than an IPA - and even for a "normal" ale still mediocre. Texture has average body and fizziness. Overall, meh, but still drinkable.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Aroma has some creamy toffee, but with a nagging rubbing alcohol aspect. Hazy dark amber with no visible carbonation and a thin, mostly white head. Nice lace. Flavor noticeably lacks hops which is shocking for a beer that claims 79 IBU. It has a flavor profile more closely resembling that of an amber. The commercial description says "fiercely hopped and hopped again", which is quite frankly false advertising. All that said, still drinkable. Labeled as Rhinelander Brewing with no mention of Minhas. I’m sure there’s a story behind that.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Una IPA refrescante, pues el amargor característico no esta presente más que un poco en el retro gusto. Carbonación moderada, color oscuro no específico, cuerpo ligero. Pero del el volumen de alcohol, las notas de maíz y maltas con un caramaleo ligero se encargan de quitarle ese sabor alcohólico de las IPAs de bajo amargor. En fin, una experiencia refescante.

They don’t know what the hell to call this, do they? It’s found under several different labels. Mine said it was "Boatswain American IPA"
Pour is nice: darker yellowish orange with a fluffy beige head. Light aroma of roasted nuts and caramel. Taste is of light malt is about it.
I like hops, but man this stuff is over hopped. The hops overpower everything else. Higher alcohol content not detected. Mediocre.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle: Clear copper color with a slight head. Aromas of malt liquor and the tap gutter. Milwaukee’s best with IPA concentrate sprayed. Awful taste - pretty much the biggest insult to an IPA I have ever come across. This is a fake microbrew and a disgrace to craft brewing in general.
