Commercial Description:
This unique, award-winning lager combines the smoothness of traditional barley with the warm, nutty flavor of wild rice. Truly an original brew!

On tap at Minocqua. Poured clear, healthy medium orange with a light cap of white head. The aroma was sweet and intriguing with honey, candied fruits, and some liqueur that I cannot place.. well-presented. The flavor was on the sweet side with honeyed dark fruits and caramel at the core.. interesting spicy character from the grains (wild rice).. tasty. Higher carbonation on the palate with a tacky finish.. OK feel and flow.

Pours a pretty clear golden brown colour with a frothy white head. Aroma is of honey, light hops, and almonds. Mouthfeel was light, but bubbly, taste finished slightly hopped, but long. Flavors of trail mix and grass.

Light tan hue with a frothy head. Nutty flavor that is sweetened with honey and balanced with some goldings. Interesting brew, call it a "Brown Lager".

Very lite grainy aroma with a note of nuts. Honey, amber colour with thick creamy head. Malty, rice flavours, but had notes of metallic-rust. (I mentioned this to the bartender). Hoppier finish than I expected. Would not order a pint again.

On tap at the brewpub in the northwoods of Wisconsin, this beer pours a clear brown penny amber brew with a thick and creamy off white head. Very good stick lacing. Aroma of multi-grain malt, some roasted chestnuts, a touch of caramel and light flowery hops. Taste is smooth, creamy, medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Finish has a clean tastes and then a nutty aftertaste. Nice multi-personality brew.
