BBB63 (3767), La Porte, Indiana, USA Apr 6, 2006 On tap at brewery, served in a pint glass and once again it was too cold at first: A golden hue topped by a frothy head and left good lace in it’s wake. The aroma has notes of grassy hops and other light citric notes, bready malts, and some earthy notes, overall nose is weak. The taste starts with fresh orange citric flavor with lots of grassy and herbal notes. A light biscuity sweet malt background follows up. A rather simple flavor profile with little depth. The mouth feel is very lively and crisp which made it a refreshing spring brew. A very average brew but drinkable, doesn’t show true character of the hops well enough.
