On-tap at the UTC location. Pours clear yellow with a fizzy white head, specks of lace. Smells of crisp malts, that’s about it. Tastes malty with a hefty dose of dishrag flavor. The dishrag flavor lingers. Thin body, crisp carbonation.

Jul 21, 2008 I’ve poured many bottles of this one, I’ll make my rating from the last time I drank this one. On tap at Newport Pizza and Ale house. Pours a bright golden hue with moderate white head. Nose has light biscut and malt wisps. Flavor is light with smooth malt and has a small bit of sweetness underlying throughout. The finish is extremely crisp and refreshing, one of the best session beers you can find~

does not count  Jul 16, 2008 I had this beer on tap last night at Sea Rocket Bistro in San Diego (great restaurant in the old Linkery local).
Aroma: The smell was light and had a malty sweet fragrance, possibly honey, low hop aroma.
Overall: Highly drinkable beer that paired wonderfully with my meal (grilled mako, smoked yukon gold mash, grilled zucchini, all drizzled with vanilla oil). The vanilla oil may have made the match. I really have never liked blondes before, but this is an amazing beer. I went out on a limb because I know Mission makes some great lighter styles and it paid off.

May 6, 2008 On tap at Taproom in Pacific Beach, San Diego, CA--Light, straw-golden color. Light malt biscuit rice nose. Creamy, spicy, great crisp mouthfeel. Spectacular presentation of a blond ale.
