Imperial Red Ale Brewed with a plethora of crystal and rye malts and a touch of brown sugar to bring out the layers of malt complexity. A healthy dose of kettle hops followed by dry hopping with Summit and Cascade.

Bottle. Heavy malt aromas of bread, cereal and roasted, Light herbs forthe hops, moderate dough for the yeast, with notes of date, dried cherry and faint hints of brown sugar and some spice. Head is average size, creamy, light tan, with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy, medium red/brown. Flavor starts moderately to heavily sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium to full, oily with a lively carbonation and finishes moderately to heavily alcoholic. This American Strong Ale is pretty strong in flavor and on the palate up front, but smooth on the end.

Pours amber red with medium off white head that quickly diminished. Nice lacing. Aromas of pine resin, caramel, petrichor, and citrus. Taste is much of the same with sweet caramel, Pine resin, citrus and a little booze. Finish is sweet and slightly dry/astringent with a medium lingering bitterness. Very well made imperial red.
