Nice dark color that keeps most light from passing through except at the edges. Thin head. Coats the glass nicely.
Nice sweet malt and roast on the nose.
Good viscous mouthfeel.
Good balance of bitterness and residual sweetness. No hot alcohol.
Overall I enjoyed this beer quite a bit. I think it’s an excellent representative of the style
