Pale golden color with soft lemon and melon esters and a bready malt body. Dry hopped with Centennial and experimental hops from the Yakima Valley. If you like a hoppy IPA, but don’t always care for the higher alcohol, try an El Conquistador XPA.

I got one of those giant cans because I like a lot of beer in one canister. That’s why I liked 40’s in high school. This is pretty good, for what it is. Al respectably low ABV pale. No need to get into the guts of the profile. It’s tasty and refreshing and holds it’s own in the style category. Compared to the price of a bomber of the same, it’s a clear steal. The fresh taste is pretty profound, making one wonder how the IIPA Shipwreck would fare in a huge can like this. (Mission: please make this happen) It’s also on sale at Costco, which has me pondering the idea of going over there with a pallet jack and stocking up.

Pours a clear straw golden color with white head. Light pine and citrus on the nose with just a hint of caramel malt; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a bit of floral notes.

Fad: Lysegul let diset øl med et fint skumhoved. Masser af duft af citra humle. Sød og igen masser af citra i smagen. Flot lækker og meget frisk øl. En fornøjelse at drikke.

Total Wine, Fairfax from a comically large can: Pours hazy gold with white head. Aroma is citrus, including lemon and a bit of grapefruit, along with some other tropical flavors. Taste is slightly sweet with a hefty west coast hops punch. Very sessionable and pleasant, especially when from a very large can.
