COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale golden color with soft lemon and melon esters and a bready malt body. Dry hopped with Centennial and experimental hops from the Yakima Valley. If you like a hoppy IPA, but donít always care for the higher alcohol, try an El Conquistador XPA.

I got one of those giant cans because I like a lot of beer in one canister. Thatís why I liked 40ís in high school. This is pretty good, for what it is. Al respectably low ABV pale. No need to get into the guts of the profile. Itís tasty and refreshing and holds itís own in the style category. Compared to the price of a bomber of the same, itís a clear steal. The fresh taste is pretty profound, making one wonder how the IIPA Shipwreck would fare in a huge can like this. (Mission: please make this happen) Itís also on sale at Costco, which has me pondering the idea of going over there with a pallet jack and stocking up.

946 ml can.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Some hops on the nose, otherwise mostly cardboard. Cardboard flavor, faint fruits, some malts and hay. Not liking this that much.

946 ml can. A decent size for a can. Pours a golden colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of floral hops, some grainy notes but also wort and some fruitiness. Flavour of biscuit, floral hops, some mild sweetness, unfortunately cardboard and some white bread. Light bodied. Lingering bitter finish. A bit thin mouthfeel. Unfortunately not at itís best anymore. Not completely ruined, though.

Enormous can! Light haze on this gold beer, good fluffy white head. Palate is light with a good crispy bite. Light pale malts support good hops. Hops skunk and a good deal of hop spice. Mild citrus. Finishes with more hop spice that lingers on. Very drinkable fresh tasting APA.

Crystal clear golden body with a thin white head. The aroma has a mild citrus fruit and hop note with a bit of pine. Caramel malt in the middle with sweet citrus fruit. The finish is moderately bitter and sweet with a nice drinkability overall.

Quart can poured a clear yellow hue w/ large fizzy white head and broken lacing. Moderate hop and straw aromas. Initial flavor is faint sweet w/ a bold bitter finish. Tastes are grass and garden hose. Medium bodied and watery mouthfeel. Yard work in a glass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
