3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at Daily Growler. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that evaporates gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat and banana. Light body with flavors of wheat, grassy hops and bananas. The finish is crisp with a wheaty aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Date tasted: July 6, 2013... Glassware: weizen glass... Occasion: mucho food o at Jim and Maria’s annual 4th (6th) of July party....Appearance: thick, foamy head that recedes to a single finger of white cloud; body is sunset orange with thick chunks of sediment sailing up and down its coast--a yeasty depot at the glass’s bottom... Aroma: banana and clove, as the bottle promises; yeasts are soft, less doughy than expected... Palate: medium-bodied, teethy impact on the mouth; a pleasant presence that doesn’t dominate--acidic, too... Taste: VERY subtly in its profile; the banana acquiesces and the clove is a gentle tickle at the throat--no problems, but not outstanding... Overall: smooth and useful, this hefe is indeed NOT a lemon-suds extravaganza, as its label warns its peers have become; its heft and subtlety make adding a lemon possible but negotiable; can’t see this on par with any real German offering, but the price was right....

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
The aroma is not exactly as I expected but not bad it does have a malty/wheaty thing with some coriander and banana. There is also a salty cracker with cheese in it. The taste is like the aroma. The appearance is cloudy gold with a thin head. The palate is smooth. Overall its rather dry and oddly salty for the style but not necessarily bad.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. A ultra thin head develops on top of a murky golden body before quickly fading completely away. Not the most appealing appearance. The aroma is what you’d expect from a standard hefe: banana, clove, yeast, some wheat. The flavor, again, consists of banana and cloves. It definitely also has a juicy fruit bubblegum thing going on, with yeast, and spices towards the back end. This really lacks the softness you get from the better Hefeweizens. It’s fizzy in the mouth; the carbonation is too lively. Certainly not a bad beer but there’s just nothing here to make me want to get it again.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pint on tap. Cloudy golden with a small lasting head. Nose of spicy, sour banana, toasted wheat bread and a touch of resin. Taste is the same great mix. Near-medium body is well balanced, with a dryish finish and a low-average carbonation level. Excellent American example of the style, using the true Bavarian Hefe yeast.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Smells like questionable yeast. Nice color minimal head and little white things? Taste is heavy upfront and heavy till it fades not my favorite. Palate is ok. Overall not my favorite beer by any stretch.
