Our India Pale Ale exhibits a complex hop aroma, largely due to the generous usage of Cascade and Centennial hops, as well as a subtle malt character from the various malts used to achieve the wonderful balance exhibited in a world-class IPA. San Diego has become world renown for the wonderful and flavorful beers produced here – and India Pale Ales are no exception. Our national award winning interpretation of the style reflects both the history of IPA and the American variation of this distinct beverage. We hope you enjoy it! 66 IBU

Cloudy orange beer with a white head. Aromas of floral hops and fresh cut grass. Tastes of floral hops, some fresh cut grass, and lots of grapefruit. Bittersweet hop finish. Decent malt backbone balances hop profile quite nicely. Not as bitter as the aroma led me to believe. A dry, hoppy, yet fruity, IPA.

12/7/13. First beer tasted at valley forge beerfest and in the top 5 of best beers Smell is hop dominated with solid bitterness and piney smell. Taste isn't as hoppy as I would've thought with the huge nose it gave off. I was expecting a west coast bomb but fell short. Had a creamy mouthfeel. I'd definitely buy it if I saw it on a menu ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tallahassee, Fl - Whole Foods Market - 12 oz bottle. Hazy medium orange pour, not much of a head. Aroma has a nice spruce presence, some yeasty funkiness. Flavor has a solid citrus bitterness backbone, some caramel sweetness, a touch of mango fruitiness. Mouthfeel is nice and puckering. Been searching for this one - the local places have all the other Missions, but not this one for some reason. Quickly becoming one of my favorite brewers.

Pours a orange yellow with minimal head. Aroma of floral hops and bready malt. Taste is mildly sweet with a pronounced bitterness that ends with a dry crisp finish. Notes of orange and citrus are present. Mouthfeel is smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Live rate. 22oz bottle from a store opposite the Yard House, Las Vegas. Misted brass-yellow with a slender white collar becoming a slick. Decent aroma, although not very San Diego IPA; peppery Belgian yeast, Flemish farmyard, barley lemon squash, parsley and lemon and lime wine gum hop. Low fizz; slick and well (bottle?) conditioned with more understated hay and yeasty, lemon barley character on the palate. Flimsy shrub and biscuit midway between Belgium and Germany. Zero alcohol presence and an unusually sweet, lager-like malt profile for a US IPA- 66 IBUs is way off the mark. Drinks OK, if ultimately too sweet and yeasty like a provincial, slightly amateurish English attempt to brew an unfiltered German/Czech lager. A little disappointed I dragged this one across the Atlantic.

Blindprovad: dämpad maltighet. Balanserad, krämig. Lagom. Viss beska i eftersmaken. Härlig sötma. Riktigt bra.

Pours a dark gold with a very small wispy white head. Smells of tropical fruits maybe a little citrus and pine. The smell is pretty one dimensional. Tastes of pine upfront with some bitterness. A little bit of malt through the middle finishing with a deep bitterness. Mouthfeel is a little light for the style. Doesn’t feel like there is much here. Overall not a great beer. SD has much better to offer.

Orange pour from bottle. Clear. Off fruity taste. Subtle malts in a citrus and floral IPA but has a taste about it I don't know how to describe but don't like. Ok beer
