Our India Pale Ale exhibits a complex hop aroma, largely due to the generous usage of Cascade and Centennial hops, as well as a subtle malt character from the various malts used to achieve the wonderful balance exhibited in a world-class IPA. San Diego has become world renown for the wonderful and flavorful beers produced here Ė and India Pale Ales are no exception. Our national award winning interpretation of the style reflects both the history of IPA and the American variation of this distinct beverage. We hope you enjoy it! 66 IBU

Clear bright copper color with a small head cover and thin webs of lace. Taste begins with malt, but that doesnít last into the palate, being replaced by grapefruit bittering and spring grass. Interesting that this beer is 66 IBUs, as it covers the power well. Balance leans toward hops, but they arenít the only taste in town. Solid entry.

Itís okay. Not the aroma and hop explosion I was hoping for though. It has a drinkable nature to it...but donít expect much wow factor. Overall, pretty average.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear orange pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of big pine, grass, but goes right into refreshing lemon, orange, nice spice notes with a hint of biscuit. Taste is a mix of nice orange, lemon peel, hints of biscuit, bread, slight spice, lots of bitter notes in the end. Pretty tasty, but a bit overly bitter in the end.

Bottle. Pours orange with white head. Smells citrusy, malty for an IPA. Tastes very well balanced, lots of citrus, grassy, good malt to it though. Not too bitter, good.

Bottle from Knightly Spirits, Kissimmee, Florida. This bright golden beer pours with a thin white head. It has strong, rich tropical fruit flavours, a rich full body and mouthfeel and a spicy, warming fruity finish. This beer tastes much lighter than its actual ABV suggests it should.
