COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our India Pale Ale exhibits a complex hop aroma, largely due to the generous usage of Cascade and Centennial hops, as well as a subtle malt character from the various malts used to achieve the wonderful balance exhibited in a world-class IPA. San Diego has become world renown for the wonderful and flavorful beers produced here – and India Pale Ales are no exception. Our national award winning interpretation of the style reflects both the history of IPA and the American variation of this distinct beverage. We hope you enjoy it! 66 IBU

Golden-orange with a slight haze and rich, khaki head. Great aromas balanced between pine needles, papaya, and fresh cut grass. Cascade and Centennial hops take full control of the flavor, lending a very drinkable bitterness and some nice dank, fruity flavors near the end. Finishes bitter and dry. A classic West Coast IPA.

Quart can - hazy orange with frothy white head. Aroma of citrus orange, juicy fruit and sweet malt. Similar in the taste, nicely balanced, medium bodied, moderate carbonation, nice long bitter finish. Excellent IPA .

Smarrig

32 oz can at tamura’s wines in Maui. Light golden orange yellow color, big white fluffy head. Lots of lacing. Nose is pine, candied pine, citrus and soft malt. Taste is big hoppy pine and citrus notes. Caramel, and lots of oil. Medium feel and carbonation. Nice IPA and fresh.

smell peppery hops from a cloudy golden body with a foamy white head, hoppy pine cone flavour too bitterly dry for me.

Poured from a bomber picked up at Total wine in glendale AZ. Aroma - slight tropical notes. Definitely has some good aromas, but not overwhelming. Taste - very unique tastes. Most front of the tongue beer I’ve had in a while. Overall - a good beer, not sure I need to have it again anytime soon.

Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a big huge frothy white head. Aroma is a beautiful blend of pine, citrus hops, grapefruit, light caramel and sweet pale malts. Taste is pine, grapefruit, citrus fruits, bitter orange peel, sweet pale malts and a light vegetal flavor with a balanced bitterness. The vegetal flavor gives it a weird unfavorable finish but it’s not too bad... Get rid of this and this ipa is easily a 4.5.

Pours cloudy golden, small head. Smells hoppy and kind of malty. Tastes much the same. Surprising weak taste for an IPA. Very small bitter, malty flavor at same level as malty level. A decent beer, I found it to be ok. Came from a quart can.

Can at home from ales by mail
hazy mid amber, slightly saponic pithy hops with spicy caramel notes. Medium body, light carbonation, pithy bitterness, caramel, citrus, a bit one dimensional, pithy.
