COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our India Pale Ale exhibits a complex hop aroma, largely due to the generous usage of Cascade and Centennial hops, as well as a subtle malt character from the various malts used to achieve the wonderful balance exhibited in a world-class IPA. San Diego has become world renown for the wonderful and flavorful beers produced here – and India Pale Ales are no exception. Our national award winning interpretation of the style reflects both the history of IPA and the American variation of this distinct beverage. We hope you enjoy it! 66 IBU

Nice and pleasant IPA. From bomber, poured hazy gold and small head. Not much of an aroma. Very hop forward but not over powering like a lot of IPA’s now a days. Goes down nice, smooth and refreshing. Gently surprised by this one and it furthers cements San Diego’s place in the craft beer world.

(Bottle, at Jemten, Duved, Sweden, 13 Aug 2014) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, tropical fruit, grapefruit, passion-fruit and resiny hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of tropical fruit, passion-fruit, mango, grapefruit, resin, biscuity malt and a finish with a generous citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Very tasty with a fresh hop character. Very nice.

A bit too malty, no clear character to the hops and almost boozy. Not bad per se, but lacks character or direction

A hazed golden orange ipa with a super thick frothy light mocha head. In aroma, light biscuit malt with good floral hops, light citrus, OK. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light treacle, orange pulp, pleasant.

Tap@bishops vasag. Orange hazy. Nice citrus soft tangerene caramelly nose. Soft, light grainy, fruity orange flavour. Real nice drinkability, soft of fluffy soft. Bitter, caramel sweets. Nice.

A bit mild compared to other IPA’s, but sometimes that’s a good thing. Floral hops, moderate bitterness, citrus and light notes of caramel. Dry finish and good feel.

"Very floral and fairly citrus centered ipa. Nothing outside of the box, but pretty solid all-around. This is the Mission beer I’d choose as a session."

Bottled. Hazy orange color, thin lacy head. Orangey, peachy and sightly berryish hop aromas. Dry, well balanced malt body with caramelly notes. Some dried fruits (raisins) with more obvious hop juiciness and herbal notes in the finish. Resinous hop flavor in the late finish. Bitterness is quite strong, cutting most of the caramel. Medium body, pleasantly smooth carbon. Anyways, it is a bit sweet and caramelly.
