3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from 1 gallon growler box. Pours clear amber in color with thin white head. Aroma is alcohol and a bit of hops. Taste is slightly sweet up front with a fair amount of bitterness in the back end. Decent, but pales in comparison to some other DIPAs from SD.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Caramel orange brown in color... Aroma is sweet citrus.... Flavor is caramel malts, toffee with finish of bitter citrus hops... Super malty for an ipa... Doesn't taste like a west coast ipa, very much east coast... Marginal at best

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy copper color with a frothy off white head. Nice head retention. The nose is a touch on the boozy side with notes of resin and overripe orange. The flavor is rather malty with a quick shock of pine and resin, but the sweet malt, orange, and caramel flavors take precedence. The finish ends up rather dry due to the ABV. Thick and sticky on the palate. Overall it’s less impressive than it’s individual parts.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
First off, i’m not sure of the age of this bottle. My guess would be that it is quite aged at this point. Poured from bottle into Tulip. Orange/Amber in color with little to no head. Aromas of pine, water, and citrus/fruits. Taste is much of the same. Slightly watered with nice pine, apricot, and hop flavors. Alcohol is hidden very well in this one. Considering I have no idea of the age or condition of storage, this is a very drinkable beer.

Pleasant, extremely hoppy aroma. No head. Interesting apricot aroma. WAY too sour flavor. Overpowering such that I can’t taste the flavoring of the beer. Average rating.
