COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A style of beer curiously born on the foggy shores of Father Junipero Serra’s first founding mission. Our own vigorous entry is one rebellious IPA, quick on the trigger, and brimming with a bounty of hop ingenuity. This is a big, bold, brazen beer, a restless vision of a new America.

Nice double IPA from this smal brewery. Sticky and sweet with a taste that lingers. Good hop array, nice beer.

Hazy orange with a medium white head. A lot of pine and caramel, light touch of red fruits. Quite bitter ending.

Aroma is floral and citrus hops. Full bodied and sticky feeling. Very sweet malt base, with floral and fruity hop bitterness. Pineapple, mango, apricot flavors. The finish is big and powerful, slightly medicinal, with a nice hoppy bitterness, but a little too sweet, and it takes away from the hop character.

Aroma is a plethora of fruitiness, citrus, grapefruit, and slight orange with a small piney background. Appearance is a darkened gold and gives a medium white head. Taste is quite earthy with a nice hoppy bitterness to it. There is a very satisfying fruity finish that leaves a creamy aftertaste. Overall, this is a very satisfying beer with an explosion of powerful flavors. The hops are nicely balanced with a perfect amount of light fruity taste. I’d give this an A rating.

Deep copper coloured body with a thinnish off-white head and some bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of fresh pine and pineapple hops, a lot of alcohol and sugars from fruits. Full-bodied; Deep pungent pine and pineapple flavoured hops with a lot of alcohol, a ton of sugars and a good malt balance - with the pungent hop notes very noticeable. Aftertaste shows a lot of alcohol and a full-bodied sweentess as well. Overall, a nice and pungent Imperial IPA with a lot of good hop notes and a very sweet balance that helps out. Plus, this sized bottle was perfect for the content. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York earlier in the day, sampled later on 18-November-2011 from New Paltz, New York.

A solid Double IPA with strong hop flavours. Length of flavour is good without too much bitterness.

Poured from the bottle, really orange color, thin head. Aroma is hoppy, and kind of woody. Flavors are complex, in the beginning I got licorice, at the end I get a dry asprin taste. Not really the best dipa out there.

the alcohol is a little too hot here, including some presence on the aroma. slight citrus smell on the end of the aroma. clear deep orange with white head that is full of small bubbles. palate is too tannic from the bitterness, and again the floral and citrus come through late. nice dry finish with sweet malt lingering late.

Bottle. Copper-amber with ok head. Strong hoppy aroma holds promise. Woody and dry with big alcohol presence. Got to love your wood.
