3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at lucky lab. Pours clear orange with a small head that dissipates rapidly. Aroma is all citrus but has a small hop aroma. Taste is bitter forward with a bunch of sweetness on the finish. Solid but not spectacular.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle from J Canal’s Egg Hrabor Twsp. Poured a deep clear honey brown body with a small to average sized super light beige head. Aroma of dry citrus rind, yellow grapefruit pulp, hop syrup, marmalade coated toast, fruit skins and grains. Full bodied with a strong harsh finish, average carbonation and a medium duration on the finish. Flavor of citrus rind, strong grapefruit notes, honey, medium toast, grains, cereal, a bit dry overall. Solid beer, but with so many DIPAs out there I doubt I’d buy this one again.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355 mL bottle. Copper orange, not quite clear. Small white head. Nice aroma hits all of the hop elements (resin, citrus, floral), but the whole does not quite equal the sum of the parts. Nice balance of citrus and caramel in the flavour. Alcohol is hidden. Bitter enough, but it does not linger on the tongue. Good beer, not great.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Warning: way better on draft than in bottles.
This is a great 2IPA. Hops take you from the nose to the finish. Enough malt to carry it.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The smell is very hoppy maybe cascade and chinook? And a hint of sweetness. The color is a oranginsh amber color thats hazy with little head. The taste is sweet at first then the bitterness takes over right away. It seems like a 70+ibu brew. Its surprizingly a heavy light body texture and the sweetness sticks on your tounge offsetting the bitterness. This brew is respectable not bad worth a try.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz. Pours that golden orange hue you can just tell is going to be tasty. Big sweet malt hints blast the nose upon a whiff. Hints of citrusy hops are present as well, alongside bits of bread. Nose transmutes into the flavors as well with hints of caramel malts and loads of resin. Good, but not great, DIPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours deep dark gold into a snifter. White head with medium retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet caramel and resin aromas. Sweet caramel and toffee upfront turning to a hot lasting resin finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Spirits Lacey. Pours an attractive darker copper color with a small white head. Aroma is of white grapefruit, orange peel, light caramel and some hop resin. Unfortunately the taste goes a bit downhill, vegetables, odd hop bitterness, stale bread, rotting fruit, caramel, rubbing alcohol and some light citrus. Aroma showed promise, but taste did not live up to that.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle into Weiss glass (all I had). Deep amber in appearance with pretty thick head that dissipates slowly while leaving behind considerable lacing. Aromas of caramel, pine, hops, grapefruit, and alcohol. Tastes include caramel, candy sugar, pine, resin. Smooth creamy mouthfeel with light carbonation with a hoppy bitter finish. Overall a good double IPA with decent character.
