COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A style of beer curiously born on the foggy shores of Father Junipero Serra’s first founding mission. Our own vigorous entry is one rebellious IPA, quick on the trigger, and brimming with a bounty of hop ingenuity. This is a big, bold, brazen beer, a restless vision of a new America.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber, thanks to Craig. The nose is caramel, spicy/fruity hops. The flavor is caramel, slight citrusy, resin, toast. Not bad, could use more hop character.

12 oz bottle: Pours dark copper, slightly cloudy, big white head. Aroma of caramel malts. Sweet caramel on the front and a salty finish. Fizzy, slightly sweet and a sour finish hides the alcohol well. REally malt forward, slightly bitter finish. Easy to drink.

On tap sampler at Westover Beer Haus in Arlington, VA. Clear, dark amber with small white head and excellent lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, pine, tropical fruit, and spice with a solid caramel malt backbone. Taste of pine, citrus and pepper with the same solid caramel malt backbone. Medium/full body and high carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle, no date!!! for shame! a big sweet beer, like aged 120min but no hops to be found. I would love to try a world class IPA aged, to really nail down how bad an IPA can get..

Sweet malt aroma with slight apricot and alcohol nose. Orange/amber color with slight chill haze. Nice malt backbone with hop bitterness present. Not astringent without any noticeable diacetyl. Has a dry finish with a smooth alcohol flavor present. Medium body with no astringent flavors. Clean, drinkable 2xIPA - it is well hopped and balanced with the malt backbone. More aroma hops and perhaps more assertive flavor hops would make this beer score higher.

Puts a slightly cloudy apricot color, nice thick head, lots if carbonation. Strong aroma, lots of hops with some pine notes. The flavor is really good. It has a sweetness on the front and then bitterness down the back. Very long finish. Great beer.

Cloudy copper with a creamy head. Medium lacing. Floral sweet aroma but with alcohol tinge. Bold hoppy taste at first slightly bitter then a sweet grapefruit in the back end. Let this one sit and sip. Will pack a punch.
