COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A style of beer curiously born on the foggy shores of Father Junipero Serra’s first founding mission. Our own vigorous entry is one rebellious IPA, quick on the trigger, and brimming with a bounty of hop ingenuity. This is a big, bold, brazen beer, a restless vision of a new America.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Hoppy aroma with sweet malts, piney, and herbal notes. The flavor is fairly well balanced, with floral and light piney hops and sweet caramel malt. Not bad.

Sampled at Slutfest 2.0. Typical double ipa. Good. Sweet. crisp. citrus. hops. I did like this one a good bit. A little much alcohol heat though.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2014 transparent orange-amber dusty. Heavy caramel nose and flavor, sweet orange dusty, nail polish, heavy sugar throughout, not much heat but way too sweet. Everything I dislike about IIPA.

This not only smells like cheap American Lager (my first thought was something like Budweiser or Coors Light, but in all honesty I haven’t had one of those in so long I’m not sure which it more resembles). No citrus or spice nose, no great aroma. Maybe I got a bad bottle, but this was really disappointing. Tried something new and just as local, but should’ve just stuck with the awesome Port Brewing Mongo instead. The only redeeming factor is its alcohol content.

651mL. The pour is a hazed light orange with bubble forming but not much of a head. Aroma is cheesy hops, lemon, strawberry. Taste is syrupy sweet, big spicy hops, orange candy. Palate is syrupy sweet. I will just continue to hate on DIPAs since they have a shelf life of about two weeks. Date your bottles!

22oz bottle: Pours a clear deep golden with a stringy-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet caramel malty nose with a good amount of citrusy hops. Starts with good fullness and chewy pale malty sweetness with some resiny hoppy balance before a drier, slightly warming bittersweet finish. Has a lot of hops and sweet malt, but could be a little more balanced.

Sweet and sugary nose with lots of citrus. Taste is moderately sweet, moderately bitter, lots of cotton candy, lots of caramel, lots of tangerine and grapefruit.

Bottle shared by CaptainCougar. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, toast), heavy hops (floral, pine, citrus), and average esters (apple/pear) with notes of alcohol, apricot, and pineapple. Flavor is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, toast), heavy hops (floral, pine, citrus), and average esters (apple/pear) with notes of alcohol, apricot, and pineapple. Medium-full body, medium warmth and carbonation with a sweet texture and dry finish.

Orange yellow pour. Not much head, looks pretty inert. Toasted malt and caramel. Citrus hops and grapefruit. Light pine. Insanely sweet with toasted malt. Citrusy, herbal hops. Biting finish.

On tap at Vintner. My girlfriend had this, so I drank some of hers. She was fond of it; I was not. Run of the mill double IPA with a cool label. Yellowish color with a white head. Fruity, floral hop aroma. Taste is kind of bitter, somewhat hoppy, with kind of a stale taste. She liked it, so whatever. It wasnt as "refreshing" as double IPA’s usually are.
