COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A style of beer curiously born on the foggy shores of Father Junipero Serraís first founding mission. Our own vigorous entry is one rebellious IPA, quick on the trigger, and brimming with a bounty of hop ingenuity. This is a big, bold, brazen beer, a restless vision of a new America.

First off, iím not sure of the age of this bottle. My guess would be that it is quite aged at this point. Poured from bottle into Tulip. Orange/Amber in color with little to no head. Aromas of pine, water, and citrus/fruits. Taste is much of the same. Slightly watered with nice pine, apricot, and hop flavors. Alcohol is hidden very well in this one. Considering I have no idea of the age or condition of storage, this is a very drinkable beer.

Pleasant, extremely hoppy aroma. No head. Interesting apricot aroma. WAY too sour flavor. Overpowering such that I canít taste the flavoring of the beer. Average rating.

Draught via Habitat. Burnt siena pour. White head. A big beer with strong hops and malts. Very good

Bottle - Pours lightly hazy amber with a thin off-white head. Nose is sweet and buttery, with lots of toffee. The hops arenít really pronounced, but thereís some light herbal hopping and some mellow pine. Taste is about the same--sweet and sticky, with pine and light grass hops. Long, sweet and slick finish, with a big thick body. Perhaps this one wasnít the freshest as I got it from the mix-6 section, but not sure. Just too sweet and sticky for my tastes.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2012 Man this thing great. Really handcrafted taste here. A soft mellow honey flavor to balance out the beautiful bouquet of hops. Wow wow wow. One of the best. Really itís almost a barleywine. Barley wine sweetness. This is a badass beer man.

Bomber from Discount. Pours an unclear orangey-copper with an off white/orange head. Terrific lacing; literally stuck to the glass in spots as I got down through the glass. Aroma has pine, citrus and resin. Taste is of sweet pine, caramel, heavy chewy resin and bitter grapefruit. Solid components for a nice IIPA. Alcohol showed more and more throughout the glass. Finishes bittersweet and alcoholly. It was very nice, a nudge less alcohol and bitterness and this would be terrific.

This is a great IPA for a non-hophead. Itís got strong hoppiness, but balanced with a sweet, if not syrupy, chewiness. I didnít find the nose all that strong, but with the flavor came orange and grapefruit mainly. There were some undertones of honey on the nose if you pay close attention. The palate is sophisticated with a moderate thickness to start followed by a moderately dry finish.

Great flavor one of my favorite beers. A double IPA that does not taste overly hoppy.
