3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
the alcohol is a little too hot here, including some presence on the aroma. slight citrus smell on the end of the aroma. clear deep orange with white head that is full of small bubbles. palate is too tannic from the bitterness, and again the floral and citrus come through late. nice dry finish with sweet malt lingering late.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours dark straw/beautiful gold. Smells of nice hops, good bitterness with a light sweetness. Flavor has sweetness to it but also a good bitter quality that’s definitely noticeable. Aroma is coming out earthy now, light grassy quality. Lacing is nice for a IIPA

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours brown, with dark orangey/red highlights, with a medium creamy yellowish tan head that leaves rings of creamy lacing. Aromas of sweet citrus peel (grapefruit), citrus and alcohol, caramel, tropical fruit, and alcohol-soaked cherry. The flavor is sweet papaya and mango, sugary pine, and tart citrus rind. The finish is sugary fruit and bitter earthy cocoa with some dirt. Low carbonation and medium/full body, creamy, and warming. A sweet dIPA with a lingering bitter finish; tasty.

Much better as this warmed, on tap at The Blue Tusk. Sweeter initially before bitterness builds up. Drying finish. Very fresh. Great thick lace.

Standard IPA aroma with a hoppy floral flavor that leads to a strong finish. The alcohol content is well masked.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Barcade, Brooklyn, New York, NY. An amber/gold coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, caramel aroma. Tastes hoppy, caramel, sweet, bitter, slightly sticky in the American DIPA way. Barman said it was the best beer on tap that day so I checked it out. Really nice stuff, I guzzled 2 pints of it.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle - from Plaza Liquors - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a half finger thick off white head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is resin, pine, and herbal hops with a touch of steamed veggies. Flavor is the same as the aroma with the addition of some lightly sweetened malt. The bitterness lingers in the finish. Medium to full body. The bottled version, which I am rating, is not quite as good as the draft version I had a couple months ago. Since I can’t find my notes on the draft version, the bottled will have to do. Anyways... This is a decent beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy gold under a tall sticky mostly white head.
Juicy malt and pine hop aroma.
The flavor has lots of bitterness to it, more so than most IIPAs, this will be more like a regular IPA, hop wise.
